I reall y didn't know where to put this post,so I chose a place where there is a lot of traffic.

A few days ago I was waiting for my UPS packages from QVC. I didn't realize my bell was not working that afternoon. My regular UPS guy was off that day. I didn't hear the truck. I go down to get my mail and I see a notice on my door. It was from UPS..We attempted to deliver your package today. You were not home..So, we will not attempt to deliver it again. You must go to such & such address and your package will be there. I knew from my regular driver that this was going to happen, but he will always try to deliver my packages,He will give them to my neighbor..Well, the next day I go to the place and guess what? My packages weren't there yet..What? well come back later..oh really..One of my packages was a Scooter and that package was big and heavy. If I didn't have a car,I really don't know how I was getting it home...Well, the next day I see MY UPS DRIVER..I ask him about this and he proceeds to tell me that UPS asks the companies if they care if they implement this practice and he tells me that AMAZON said NO WAY..you will not do that with our Packages..AVON said NO WAY..BUT guess what..QVC says Fine with us..do it..just another way to INCONVIENCE YOUR CUSTOMER..I am always a DEFENDER of QVC..but on this point..QVC THIS PRACTICE STINKS!

I have been having this situation here in Queens, NY for a couple of months now.  Same as you, one attempt at delivery and then pickup at a local drugstore next day after 3pm.  I have called QVC about this because we are all paying for shipping.  To no avail.

Is this due to packages being stolen from the front door?  I know this happens often during the holiday shopping time.  My packages are left on the porch and the driver rings the doorbell to let me know about the delivery.  However, this neighborhood is a low to no crime rate.

By the way...........love the font you chose.  Most are the tiny little font and I just don't bother to read them.  (suggestion to posters - select this size - a number 2 - which is easier on the eyes)

I'd just go to pick-up place and tell them to mark as 'not accepted' - they'll then be returned to QVC.

I am in Brooklyn NY..My regular driver will never do that to me. He will put in on my back porch if he has to..But the fill-ins don't care. they do what they are told.they wouldn't even attempt to think outside the box and give it to my neighbor. he's rather take it back to his truck and hand it off to another driver..So stupid on so many levels..BUT UPS a MONOPOLY  of sorts. There are other shippers..but UPS is not afraid....

In answer to your question about packages being stolen..I live in a VERY LOW CRIME AREA.No it has nothing to do with that. It has to do with and I am getting this from my driver. He says UPS thinks that they WASTE to much time trying to get a neighbor to take the packages. they want them to MOVE,MOVE,MOVE..I am telling you that they are cracking down on their drivers. They are not treated very nice.Did you know that they have NO Air Conditioning in their trucks? I was amazed when he told me that..They don't want them to get to comfortable..I'm amazed they have heat in the Winter..I was so mad,I took to my facebook page and I also went on UPS's page and I told them what I thought of them. They answered me.Asking if they could help.I laughed at them.Help..what are you going to do,my package is already at the other place..and I was told that I could RESCHEDULE a delivery...but..they can't tell me when I will actually get my packages..ARE THEY KIDDING ME!

I've never had a problem with UPS delivery.  The just leave the pkg by the front door and leave, usually after ringing the doorbell.  You can sign up for delivery notification on the UPS website.  They'll notifiy you the day before by email that a pkg will be delivered, then afterwards when it was left.

Actually how can they have AC in their trucks when they are constantly jumping in and out.?  UPS is a great company to work for as far as I know. My UPS  guy started as a very young guy and  has grown up before my eyes .He loves his job and is always smiling as are all my UPS guys. They go out of their way for me. One even notified my neighbor to check on me when I did not answer the door  and  He  always gave Me Christmas gifts.

My dad was a uPS guy in the early days of UPS when they first used cars and not trucks. He stayed with UPS all his life and worked his way to the top . I have his gold watch they gave him for driving with out an accident for 25 yrs when he wqs a driver. He would be so proud to see they have planes and are worldwide now

This is to protect you & QVC from theft.  Those who are not honest & have called saying they never received their order when they did cost everyone millions of $. It's a pain to the majority of honest customers. One bad apple...

My UPS driver just leaves it on my porch for anyone to see and possibly take.
