First, I would like to say how great the customer service person at ULTA was when I called yesterday and today.

Now let's see - my ULTA order started back east, took its sweet time but finally made it to my area in CA, then it sat there for 3 days, and this morning tracking was showing it went to Las Vegas, NV, then to Toconah, NV and has left there going to who knows where.  HAHA

When I called ULTA customer service yesterday morning, the package was still showing as in my area so the CS rep said to wait one more day to see if it shows up.  So when I saw this morning that it was in NV, I called CS and he couldn't figure out what was going on either.  So we decided to send another shipment of my order.

Keeping fingers crossed my new package doesn't take a US road trip to get here.  LOL

@JudyL , One of my favorite things about Amazon is how they keep you updated on your order and if something goes amiss they offer immediate solutions. Half the battle is not being informed.

I would have gladly flown to VEGAS to retrieve it for you (g)  Might have taken me a few days to leave Vegas tho lol  If DH ever takes me back there, I'm running out the doors right before take-off.  With knee surgery in May, I'm setting my sights on spending Christmas in Vegas Smiley Happy

@monicakm  -  There is not enough make-up or money in this world to get me to Vegas again.  However, I'm glad you enjoy it and hope you get there after your knee surgery.

@JudyL  That's strange about your Ulta order. Maybe you'll end up getting two orders if the first one eventually shows up.  I never ordered from Ulta, so can't comment on their deliveries.

Why wouldn't you go back to Vegas? You don't have to go into detail, but maybe the city didn't live up to expectations?  The only way to get me to Vegas would be to see a Raiders game. (I like Jimmy G.) Otherwise, no interest.

@teganslaw - All I'll say is that I had some bad experiences in Vegas and have no desire to return.  Besides the bad experiences, I just didn't like it - not my thing.  I'm a football fan too and Jimmy G played for my team for a while but not even a football game would get me back.

I've had no problems with ULTA shipping in the past and realize this was definitely an UPS issue not an ULTA issue so I don't blame them.  They have sent me a return label for the first order if it ever shows up.

I'm sorry you had such a bad Vegas experience.  I wish it had been different for you.  We didn't gamble so no loss of life savings (g).  I had one or two girly drinks so no doing anything I regretted later.  Didn't go anywhere "dicey" (like Fremont street).  Just stayed on the strip and enjoyed the over the top opulence of The Venetian, restaurants and shopping.  We got there on St Patrick's Day so that was a little crazy.  Had no idea there were so many Irish in Vegas lol  Zip lined over the Strip from the Linq (so maybe it was one street over, it was a blur as I flew thru the sky at warp speed wondering if I'd ever see the babies again Smiley Surprised)  The plane, helicopter and boat ride to and in the Grand Canyon was very exciting but I wouldn't need to do it again.

I've had weird experiences with UPS here too.  I am in SC and packages sometimes make a wild trip before getting here or supposedly getting here.  I never really get why something comes in and out of the state before coming this way, but it does happen.  Prefer to use USPS.  Fed Ex is even worse around here.

Friday update:  Seems my original package left Tonopah, NV and then went to Sparks, NV and is now back in CA in West Sacramento.

The new package supposedly shipped yesterday, but tracking shows its still waiting to be picked up.  Thats not all that unusual I don't think though  Have seen that before.  Shipper will have picked it up, however, the scan just hasn't updated so not really to worried - yet.

I don't know ladies, this is really pretty crazy.

@Jk9

FedEx used to be pretty bad here too but has gotten way better the last several years.  I don't get much from them tho.

I don't have any issues with UPS except I prefer USPS because I get my pkgs around 11am vs 2-4pm
