Re: Tweaked by nature reviews

I use a number of Tweak'd products and have been very happy with them. I have better results than I ever had with WEN.  It's important to make the right formula selection - Restore vs. Rise & Shine - in order to get your desired results.

I have used many of the products and really like them. I am using Vanilla Amber shampoo and cond. right now, but decided to try the new Tulupia and Above the Clouds tonight. Sometimes the VA is a bit too heavy for me, it is for dry, damaged hair and tends to weigh down my hair on day two, which is why I went with The above the Clouds and Tulupia tonight. I have fine hair but a lot of it. From what I understand from tonight demo's the Above the Clouds add's a bit more moisture than the Tulupia. HTH

His products work nicely. The only thing I wish he would do is not use so much fragrance.

Tweak'd products are in the 'clean beauty' category so they don't have sulfates.

Re: Tweaked by nature reviews

I used WEN for years and was getting to the point that I just wasn't getting the results I wanted. Switched to Tweak'd and it did take 2-3 wks to work thru the build up on my hair from WEN, but once it did, it lathers up nicely and the conditioner, just a little goes a long way.  I still use a pump of WEN as leave in as I do need the extra moisture.  I also like that you don't need to use as much product as WEN, I was never comfortable with the "if it's not working just use more" advice. If a product is high quality you should use less, right?

Also, in regards to the Tweak'd scrub to use once a week - it's amazing and you will find your hair absorbs the conditioner even faster.

Overall, my hair, just below shoulder length, combs out much easier in the shower and I have much less hair in the drain. Color and highlights last 12-16 wks before I need to touchup and never need a full color, just a partial on the outgrowth.

So far each product of Tweak'd I've tried, lives up to the hype and performs nicely.

It's a nice product and for me it works well.  I've mentioned in other threads that I have been alternating with my Wen but I am really loving Tweak'd and have been moving more towards that brand.  I feel for me, it's a more affordable price too.

am not a fan really--I bought a huge duo --shampoo/conditioner, and I do use the shampoo but never the conditioner as it makes my fine hair flat---why I bought such huge amounts---must have been  temporarily insane at the time--I do like the scalp scrub tho--but what to do with all that conditioner?? Tried WEN and hated that junk---I don't buy any huge containers of anything anymore---lesson learned

@wagirl I wonder if you got the wrong formula?  That happened to me when I mistakenly purchased the Restore line. I realized that I needed to stick with the Rise & Shine or volumizing formulas.

Maybe you could use the conditioner as a body cleanser or shave cream.

I had used Wen for years and still do love the pom items. I originally bought Wen because it was supposed to not strip your hair color - I actually didn't think that part worked for me, but I still liked the product. When I recently ran out of the cleansing conditioner I decided to try something else to see if I could get more volume to my thinning hair. I bought the drugstore brand OGYX that was suppsed to give volume and it did, but I do not like how the conditioner worked compared to Wen as a leave in.

So I've decided to try the Tweaked and ordered the TSV and the scrub. I'm hoping I ordered the correct one for volume (Above the Clouds). Crossing fingers that I will like Tweaked.

Re: Tweaked by nature reviews

Hi @Kitty Galore

I have not tried the shampoos or conditioners. I do use and have re-purchased the 2XL Fiber spray.  It is 2 for $35 with free shipping right now.  Some people don't like the smell.  It's a like a coffee or coacoa smell, which I really like.  It reminds me of the other line they created- Ojon.

in the presentation of the fiber spray yesterday, he said it did not have any hold.  It's a fiber spray with a dry shampoo without any of the talc.  It's not white.  i think that is a good description.  I use it just to add some grit to my hair when I just washed it.  So a bottle lasts a long time.
