Re: Tweak'd Volumizing kit--problem

Let me help you ladies out here as I encountered the same problem on the 2XL item of the TSV.

When looking at the top of the nozzle you will notice a small dot or circle on the edge of the nozzle directly across from the spray opening.  Just underneath that "dot" there is a piece of plastic that needs to be clipped as this is impeding the nozzle to be depressed.  It seems this is a result of some sort of manufacturing mishap randomly happening in the production/assembly line.

I found this explanation in the Q&A section of the singularly sold item here at the Q so I cannot take credit.  I just came across it in my sleuthing when I was experiencing the same problem as you girls here, and customer service did not offer any remedy other than to exchange or return as defective.

I hope this helps those of you here with the problem.  Good Luck!

You're very, very welcome.  Upon examination you will see the piece of plastic immediately.

The Tweak'd aerosol cans have some kind of lock tab on it you have to disable to get the spray to work. This problem has been mentioned in reviews.  Once you break the tab it should work. I have two of his sprays that I thought were defective until I defeated the mechanism.

@Grouchomarx  Thanks so much for mentioning the lock tab.

Re: Tweak'd Volumizing kit--problem

I did not have any problem with the sprayer just the product that came out.  I bought this kit and again what a dissappointment.   My hair looked the same with the shampoo I normally use.  No body or any miracles here.  Just a big waste of shipping charges.  I cannot imagine how this helped Dennis mother.  Just a sales ploy maybe.  Nothing about the kit stood out to me except the overpowering smell.  I was afraid to use any fragrance because I felt my hair smelled strong.   I used it yesterday and it needs washing this morning.  It is going back and I will purchase no more hair products from QVC.

No piece of plastic or tab that I can see to "disable" on my can.  Still won't spray w/o King Kong-like strength!  I hope Denis addresses & fixes this as I read a lot of negative reviews & complaints about it.

Re: Tweak'd Volumizing kit--problem

Perhaps I didn't describe this 'piece of plastic' well enough - I will try again.  Looking down on top of the nozzle, identifying the 'dot' or 'circle' , it is a piece of plastic lying between the nozzle and the can down between this area - it is not obvious at all.  Once you see this tiny line of plastic, simply clip with a cuticle scissor or other sharp object and you will immediately free-up the nozzle.

I hope this better describes the remedy for you.  Better luck this time.
