Turning 65 in 30 days......time for a change

I'm turning 65 in 30 days and have decided to make some changes.  Need new hairdo because the shoulder Bob is too hard to do with arthritis.  This has gotten me thinking about making some changes in my makeup too.  Might even take the old dye bottle to the white hair.   My question is what would you chamge when hitting those milestones?

Congratulations !  All I can contribute is to let a professional do the first color change if your hair is pure white, especially if you have absolutely no experience in coloring your own hair.  You don't want an opaque monochromatic result.

I didn't change anything about my looks when I turned 65, I was confident and happy with my appearance.

Always nice to get an update at milestones. I also agree you should have a professional dye your hair.  You do know that 65 is the new 40!

Nothing. For 65 was just a number.

A new do is refreshing no matter what age!  I say get the cut first and get the opinion of your hair stylist on color and go from there.  Then if you like what he/she has to say, you can make an appointment while you're there getting your haircut.  Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Great idea!  I am not 65 yet, but I hope I can jazz it up when the time comes.  Congrats @fritzee.

@fritzee Early happy birthday!  65 is amazing!  I never personally have felt the need to do anything because of a number or year in my life....I turned 30 , then 40' then 50.... then 60.... and now going on 63.

If if you feel you need a change go for it!  Do what makes you feel happy 😊.  Life is amazing and everyday is a gift. Do what makes YOU happy. Do not wait for a special day, or a year or  a milestone.  JUST DO IT.

I didn't change anything when I hit any age.  Just changed my hair a bit whenever I felt like it through the year and got highlights the later color and highlights to cover the gray when they started to overtake my head.   @fritzee  whatever you do have fun with it and enjoy!
