And I like it!  I get it now @monicakm as to why you and so many others here and YTers rave about it.  What a nice foundation and the shade is great.  I always like to say that I use a primer with foundations.  Will definitely be reaching for this a  lot.  Think the first time I tried this the shade was all wrong and thats why I didn't like it.  Not crazy about the pump as it's hard to get just a teeny bit out but I'll live with it and figure out how much I need as time goes on.  I applied with a damp sponge as I always do and it blended out well and has such a nice finish to it.

Also used the Laura Mercier blurring powder for the first time and this is another great product.  Used it with a powder puff and just a tiny bit in my t-zone and it does what it says!  It's blurring alright and so far has not settled nor made my skin look dry.

So glad I tried these.

Re: Tried NARS Foundation Today

@JudyL    I am 67 and am finding that the area under my eyes is thinning and needs more coverage.  I use FUTURIST from Estee Lauder and like it but I think I need more coverage, especially in the eye area.  I also always use a primer daily.

If Sephora carries that line, I will have to stop in and see if they can do a color match for me.

Re: Tried NARS Foundation Today

There's a dupe for Nars...its Revlon Skincaring illuminate...looks very nice, nice ingredients too.  You might want to check it out.  No where near $50.

@Mom2Dogs ...I had the EL futurist...I really didn't like it at all...hard to blend/apply, lightest shade was too yellow for me, and balled up over every sunscreen I used...threw it out...waisted $48.  I couldn't return it...ordered online and didn't save any receipts.

Anyway, right now I'm using Loreal Infallible liqiud/pump spf 20...its pretty nice for the price $16.  I have the stick too.

This nars caught my eye, so i searched dupes, and Revlon looks very nice.  I really don't need another foundation 🙄

Re: Tried NARS Foundation Today

@Dazlin - sorry I didn't mention which NARS foundation.  It's the Light Reflecting option.  I am medium cool and the shade finder told me to get Vallauris.  It is a great match.

Saw that you posted about the dupe.  Thanks for doing that.  At some point, I may try it.

Re: Tried NARS Foundation Today

@Mom2Dogs - as an FYI - I got my NARS foundation from Sephora.  I'm a medium cool and bought Vallauris, just for your reference if that helps.

Which primer are you using these days, @JudyL ?  So far Hourglass has been my fave but I am always looking for the next great primer.

@Wsmom - most of the time I reach for Smashbox Primerizer Hydrating Primer.  However, lately I've been using the Milk Hydro Grip Primer becasue I have a mini bottle of it and want to use it up.  I have so many primers so trying to use up the minis so I can reduce my stash and get back to using the Smashbox.  I have a mini of the Hourglass which I'll probably start next - how is it?  Do you like it?

Re: Tried NARS Foundation Today

@monicakm     Thanks, I don't have darkness...just getting 'thin' in that area that could use 'something'...I am familiar with the Lancome product but not the Kaja consealer.

When I get to the city I will check them out.  I won't order on line as I never pick the right color.

I am fair but not porcelin but if I pick a medium color, that they say is  universal, it's still to dark.
