Honestly, I really didn't think I would make it, but tomorrow is day one of week eight for me. The unit itself has not given me any problems. My last day of treatment will be Memorial Day. I am looking forward to being released from the monotony of having to use this thing every night.

One thing I have learned is that my face is not really free after cleansing with Purity. I have a lot of difficulty getting to a tack-free surface when I use Purity, and the Tria drags across my skin all through the treatment. On days when I use SSC glycolic cleanser or (horror!) my Perlier no-soap avocado hand soap, my skin is much cleaner before I start and the treatment period goes by with fewer interruptions.

I sure hope that these new lip lines I have given myself go away over the next four weeks because if they don't, I might have to resort to something at the derm's office.

Woot woot! You can do this. I just started a second round of Tria. My skin looks great, but I dermarolled during my 4 week reprieve. I have a serious sickness when it comes to using my beauty tools. I can't put them down. I've tried. Hard.

I don't have lip lines any longer, but I had gotten rid of them with the PaloVia and I think I kept them at bay with the derma roller. I actually tried to use the Tria over my mouth area, but I got cold sores (which is not surprising ... it was actually called out as a potential side effect in the informational material).

Enough about me. Smiley Happy I hope your recovery period goes well and that you see the results that you're hoping for!!

How exciting for you! I'll be eagerly awaiting your post-Memorial Day posts!!

I'm dragging a week behind you, but even then, it's SO CLOSE!

I was going to start a Week 7 thread to mention some odd things I'm seeing on my skin (not bad, not good, just odd!) but maybe I'll just tag along here. Either way, I'll post tomorrow to see if anybody else is experiencing these oddities and if so, they're not alone!

I bet you're exhilarated!

It's encouraging to know you saw enough improvement to jump in for round 2! You're too funny with your gadgets!

I can not wait to finish my 8 weeks. I don't think I am going to do the extra week because since I got the new replacement, my face has been drier and more red, which is odd for me. I am looking forward to seeing what my skin will show during the 4 weeks off. I may try my dermarolling once a week.

I find I am getting tired of doing it every night! But I won't stop! I just hope I see some tightening because that is what I wanted it for!!

And my new replacement is working great. I thought it may be lessoning, but it isn't. LOVE the feeling of it!!!!

Lucky you! I've just started week 2 with my replacement tool. My face is dry and red. I'm persevering, but have a long way to go! Looking forward to hearing about results during the off period!

itsMe, how long have you been using the tria before the replacement? Are you only on your 2nd week even though you used the other one?? I used my first one for 6 weeks and on my 2nd week with the replacement. I am not going to start over again and do mine for another 6 weeks!!!! My face is dry and I can not wait to stop now. I was going to use it for another week added on, but I don't think I will.
