I reported on another thread about the mark on my forehead breaking up, and I noticed yesterday that the broken caps on each side of my nose are diminishing. I don't notice any changes in firmness.Aw, I am sure you will see results regardless if you miss a few days.

Well I am glad you are seeing results. I am hoping for firming more than anything.

It's when the 4 weeks AFTER the 8 weeks are up when everybody seems to get to the jaw-dropping stage. And we're getting closer!

Close enough! And you can drop us postcards reporting on how good you're looking as every day passes. Boy -- a laser treatment AND a vacation! Double Whammy!

Did I read the instructions incorrectly? I thought I was to use it for 12 weeks then 4 weeks off.

There are two protocols -- the U.S. and the "global". In Canada and England (and elsewhere where it's been cleared, I imagine) the protocol was 8 weeks DAILY then 4 weeks off. The FDA, for reasons unknown, gave the clearance for 12 weeks at 5 days on, 2 off, for 12 weeks. Most of us have chosen to follow the global protocol, but I've read reviews on both and they each give good results.
Regardless of which you choose, it's after the active treatment stops (either the 8 or 12 weeks) when the results really start becoming apparent. If you want to do another round of treatment, for the Canadian/Euro protocol, take at least 4 weeks off. Not sure for the U.S. protocol, but Tria could answer that for you.
Have you begun your treatment yet? There are threads here beginning with Tria - Day 1 and then after a week of daily threads, shannara wisely chose to "host" them weekly. So there's lots of info and everybody has shared their experience -- very helpful.
I just noticed you mentioned "4 weeks off", so that must be the same for both protocols.

Lyn, my unit arrived on Monday, so I have only used it twice, on level 2 (heading up to level 3 tonight), so my experience doesn't count! That said, I think it's been a consistent strength throughout the treatment.
