That starts it right up again and I can complete my forehead zone.I called Tria the day it arrived -- the 2nd. Still hadn't received it by the 10th so called to find out where it was. It hadn't been sent out until the 9th!!!! I'd heard of quick deliveries like snowball's, so I don't know what the deal was. Still waiting...
Thankfully, my original charger seems to be doing okay even though the rep said (because of the initial problems I was having) it might be a wonky one which is why he was going to send me out a new one "right away". If the original charger hadn't been okay, I'd have been livid because none of my usb cords fit the charger.
When I lose contact too repeatedly (over my lips, between my eyes) it apparently shuts down but WILL start back up if I move to a "good" area -- like my cheek. It don't have to turn it off or anything, just get it gliding normally again.
How did yours just die -- just didn't charge or come to a halt during treatment? If during treatment, try gliding it again after a rest. Keeping my fingers crossed.
This little gadget can sure cause a lot of aggravation!

Snowball, I just received the BPOE yesterday, thank to Lyn's recommendation. I too have stubborn milia, and usually use one of those tiny needles meant for diabetics to get them, but have a particularly stubborn one that has resisted my bathroom surgery. The Isomers did nothing for me, and it burned, so I have high hopes for this. Also still eyeing the mask, as I think Perricone is having a sale on his site the next few days?
Lyn- do you also use the BP face? I am looking through the threads and can't find where that was discussed. I think I also read a rave on the Neuropeptide cream.
Laser going along fine. A little dryness, a little redness, but nothing bad at all.
The study Lyn posted above shows great results.

Day 11 - 6th day on Level 3
To be more precise, it was my 10th treatment (I had to skip a day because I was sick), but 11 days since I began.
Like Lyn, it continues to get better and easier. Very little redness or heat, pretty much a no brainer. I was debating whether or not I really needed to pre and post ice (that's what hurts the most!) but I did just to be sure. Also, I'd really cleaned the little laser window with a lens cleaning cloth and I could tell the difference afterward. But, not really sure I needed to -- maybe I'll skip it tonight.
My skin is still feeling a little tight and drawn, but that may be the Tria cleanser. Tonight I'll use a gentler cleanser and see if that makes a difference.
My face doesn't LOOK dry or flaky at all, I can just feel it. A LITTLE rough feeling around the corners of my mouth, but that's it.
Again, I am so surprised that this is relatively easy and painless. I was expecting the worst! I hope it continues to go well for us all!

Today will be Day 14 for me and will be 13 days on Level 3. No redness, dryness, and sometimes I wonder if it is doing anything. My undereye area is looking better with that festoon I was seeing and the line on my face seems to be going away.
How do you like it around the lips?

I called last week to get the replacement charger and am waiting. Its too bad to stop during treatment like this. I did try plugging into 2 different USB ports/computers but no luck at all.
How long did you take for those of you who got replacements to get the new ones? THanks.

Oh gosh I sure hope they send these things out faster! Sorry you have to wait. There is a big part of me that is ready to call it quits and maybe repurchase in another year or so when the bugs are gone and more reviews are in. I was also reading that some people get brown spots that Tria says can take 3 months to go away. I have a big event this summer and cannot afford to have brown spots for it!! I have some mild sun damage so its one of the issues I was hoping to improve other than the fine lines which don't bother me all that much.
My Tria died 1/2 way through a treatment and I knew the battery was dead because the all the lights on top went off. Like yourself I had some issues around my chin with keeping contact but when I restarted the machine/laser would start up again. Not this last time. I think mine was fully charged and then I had been charging it into an outlet which I cannot tell if it was doing anything or not-blue light always blinking. I don't think I could get through the time needed for a Level 3 treatment so I did not attempt it. Felt like I was on borrowed time until the new charger arrived.
Honestly I'm going to give some thought to whether or not I'm going to keep it over the next few days. One of my biggest issues is that they sent all these out knowing full well the chargers were defective. If I return and decide to repurchase I will likely not buy from qvc.

They've had over a year to work on it since the Canadian launch. I don't know what the problem is. And as someone mentioned, QVC often buys up the remnants of inventory to sell at a good price. If it IS just the usb cable, the new connection should take care of it, right? But I've read that people have gotten theirs replaced three times!
But anyway, don't hold your breath until "all the bugs are worked out", but who knows? And buying new inventory from Tria direct (or Sephora? or...?) might just be the answer.
Someone mentioned speaking to Tria about the "new" units -- you might be able to get info from them.
I think the indicator light is wonky, too. I have no idea where they came up with the 2.5 charge time, but after a treatment mine blinks for a good 10+ hours before it indicates it is charged. I'm just relieved it seems to keep working.
On Tria's site it shows before and afters and although it says not cleared for freckles, etc., you can sure tell the difference. I forget how at what point the "after" pics were taken. Check it out. I sprouted a brown spot so you might want to cease and desist until after your Big Event.

Well, mine has taken more of a charge but who knows how much as the blue light never stops blinking.
I noticed when I first got mine, I used it and then put it back in the charger, it blinked. Several hours later I noticed it stopped blinking so I immediately moved it from one outlet to another (wanted it in a different spot) and then it started blinking again and never stopped since. Initally I did not think I had a bad charger because the first time it did shut off. Fluke thing I guess. LOL
Thanks, I had seen the before/after photos on the Tria website. I think I'll return this one I got and plan to purchase one again in the future. During a time where I can afford a temporary brown spot and a newer model. It looks very promising and I feel really let down at the moment. If the last of a batch that was having issues was bought up who knows how well these will last into the future? Its too pricey to just konk out quickly. I also have 'issue' with qvc for selling it to begin with given the unresolved charging issue.
I will read up on the threads and hope everyone gets the results they were hoping for.

Of the year and a half I have had and used my Tria, never had an issue charging. And it never, ever takes more than 2 hours to fully charge. Ten hours to charge...something is most definitely wrong with either your unit and/or the charger. I have always gotten 3 treatments (1 treatment a day for 3 days) at level 3 from a single charge.

I'm only getting 2 to 2.5 treatments with level 3. It dies out during the beginning of my third treatment.
