Hi to all you Tria ladies and welcome txdawl, glad you've joined the group.
I watched the Tria presentation on Friday night to see if they had improved on it and the answer was no...same presenter, same info. There were a few testimonial calls from women who said they were seeing improvement in as little as two weeks and they were now about where most of us are. A couple were raving about how this was the best thing ever and that their skin is so much smoother. I know I should be happy for them, and I am, but I'm not seeing that much so far, so that is concerning. Well, not much longer to wait. Last week coming up soon.
The only interesting thing was that she said the next time she was on, there would be some new information to relay...something exciting. Very vague. Wondering what that was about. FDA approval for other than face use, maybe? Did anyone else see it and have any thoughts on what that might be?

I didn't catch that reference to something exciting. Maybe they've just dumped all the bad units on us, have cleared out their inventory, and can now introduce their New! Improved! version in which they've addressed all the problems. :-) Sorry, couldn't resist.
I can't help but wonder if those who are seeing such jaw-dropping results so soon aren't just seeing the micro-inflammation/reaction from the assault on the skin (like Dermarolling). But I honestly don't know, As we've discussed, somehow our skin looks better *somehow* but we can't quite put our finger on it.
Remember wackers's post, and other who have had the heavy duty laser treatments, that the improvement begins after the treatment. I kind of look at this like having a l-o-n-g, wimpier treatment (but cumulative!) and that we, too, in theory, will see the real results begin after we've stopped the active lasering. I'm hoping, anyway.
This is the first time I haven't been discouraged by lack of results after a period of time. The first time I'm actually being patient. It just makes so much SENSE that it would work, shannara, you know? We injure our skin, it repairs itself by producing collagen. How could it NOT do that? *shrugging*
I guess we'll find out -- not too much longer to wait!

Lol, Maren. I guess we have a right to be cynical. I wonder how many people just gave up because of all the problems, or got a few weeks in and then it died on them. I feel fortunate that I haven't had any problems with mine. I always feel like I'm the one that gets the dud, but not this time, anyway.
Thanks for the pep talk. I'm just starting to get antsy now that we're close to the end. I am SO hoping not to be disappointed again. Yes, it does make sense that this should work. I guess I thought it might work because it hurt ... no pain, no gain type of thinking. I still feel the burning for a short while afterward and my face is a little red in certain spots, but for the most part, the treatment is not nearly as stinging as when we started. Hope that is just because my skin has gotten used to being abused. I sure hope I can start a "Tria - Post Treatment" thread and report good things and see everyone else post some real results, too.
