MarenSeattle suggested we use one daily thread to post our results with the Tria. That way people starting on different days can check the 'Day' thread to see the reactions of other posters on the same day of treatment. I think that is an excellent idea. So here goes.

I tested my hand on level 1 (felt nothing) and level 2 (felt a mild sensation and a very slight stinging afterward for maybe 5 minutes) although I did not do the total time on my hand.

Just completed the first round on my face on level 2. I most certainly felt it, some heat and a prickling sensation. Felt it most around my upper lip and the little chipmunk pouches {#emotions_dlg.crying} at the bottom of my marionette lines. I had a some redness but it only lasted about 15 minutes or so and I did have a bit of stinging, but the serum helped with that. Feel this is totally doable and not as bad as I expected after hearing hot snapping rubber bands. Level 3 will be more intense, I'm sure, simply because it is a longer time. I'm planning to stay on level 2 for the first week and then try level 3.

I'm wondering about using the NuFace after using the Tria. Although I usually don't feel anything with that, I think I might feel it if I used it right now. Maybe the NuFace before the Tria? What about using the Lightstim in conjunction with the Tria? Please give your thoughts on using any of the other devices. Looking forward to reading what you all have to say.

Trying again. I'm resilient!

First of all, thank you, shannara, for sharing your Day 1 report and for starting this thread! I hope this will work so we all have a go-to place to ask questions and see how our Day 1, etc., compares with others. I think this will be a great resource and that we can be of great help to one another.

Regarding LightStim, photoqueen on EDS recommended "stacking" the treatments. He used an LED Device while he was going through the protocols and feels it was beneficial.

I haven't seen NuFace mentioned in conjunction with this (but a lot of people on that board are Canadian, European or Australian and they seem to have more products available to them than we do, so someone may have mentioned a microcurrent device but I didn't recognize it as such, not being familiar with the device?). BUT, NuFace works on the muscles, Tria on the skin, so I don't think they'd contradict each other. Hopefully someone will come along who may actually know.

It was interesting to see how different people responded to and tolerated the Tria. Some began on Level 2, on to Level 3 in just a few days. Others never were able to go to Level 3 for the entire length of the protocol. And yet others were only able to graduate from Level 1 to Level 2 toward the end of the 8 week treatment.

As for your tender chipmunk pouches:-), another thing people mentioned was "I could do it just fine on my cheeks (for example) but couldn't spend as long above my lip, etc.

I think we'll each have to feel our way along -- I'm thinking it'll be obvious if we need to decrease the level, or if we feel we can tolerate increasing the juice. >/p>

jmachere2 got one a few weeks ago at Bloomingdales. She had a Demo on Level 1 and it didn't faze her, The Tria rep suggested she could probably begin at Level 2, which she did. She's going to try to check in.

Again, thanks so much for your report and thread, shannara! I'm looking forward to being able to join in the discussion first hand.

Well I did my treatment last night with Level 2. I didn't mind it at all. I was a little red and it looked like I just scrubbed my face a little harder. It went away really fast and this morning I don't see anything, redness. I didn't use it too much under the chin, but will tonight.

I may use my lightstim now and my Nuface later today. But so far I didn't mind the level 2. Maybe I will try 3 tonight and if it hurts, go back to 2. But I started the Palovia on the highest setting too and that stung, but kept with it.

I checked with customer service, and mine won't get to me until late April. I'll be way behind you all!

Thanks for posting your experiences. It will help when mine does finally arrive.

That's exciting, snowball! Both you and shannara -- I'm becoming less nervous to fire mine up. Thanks!

HEED THIS, LADIES:

One poster on EDS said she was breezing through on Level 3 for a while with no problem. THEN she cleaned the laser and YEOWCH!

So others cleaned theirs and noticed a stark difference, too. Some had to dial back a Level.

On photoqueen's YouTube review he said after EACH USE he gently cleans the laser with a cotton swab.

If stronger is better, we want to be sure we're getting all it has to give.

I've worked myself into such a lather over this, I'd be X-ing off the days on my calendar -- like a kid waiting for Christmas. I've no doubt you're more patient (and less immature) than I.

My blood pressure spikes every time I look at the tracking status. No update since the 28th, the day it was shipped. I know that often it will be "stuck" on that up until the day it's delivered, but it's still aggravating.

I need to Get. A. Life. :-)

We'll both have them in our hot little hands before tooooo long, itsMe, and hopefully we'll feel it's been worth the wait.

Mine is out for delivery! This is fresh in my mind, because I spent a couple hours yesterday catching up on the last 20 pages of EDS thread. I think the nuface is a facial toning device? If so, its fine to use in conjunction, per the people on that thread. And some of those people have EVERY DEVICE you can imagine. I have a Nutritone which I LOVE and will continue to use every other day like I normally do in the morning(using it right now as i'm typing this!)

Have either of you that have started already, used the Palovia? If so, how does the pain compare? Thanks. Can't wait to follow everyone's progress.

Where do you live, 5pugmom? I'm champing at the bit for some word/update on mine

As you probably remember reading on EDS, it doesn't take very long to charge (compared to the 12 or 24 hours some devices require).

I still haven't finished the EDS tome. I bet there are more threads on it, too -- but that one pretty much covers everything, don't you think?</>

Photoqueen said both the Tria and ReAura (not available in the U.s.) are "brilliant" - didn't care all that much for the Palovia. The ReAura is supposed to be much stronger (and about twice as much $$$) but Photoqueen said he finds the Tria is the one he reaches for. I think the ease of use is a BIG thing, and NO GEL. I can identify with the no gel preference, I HATED that with my NuFace.

There are a few here (snowball, for one) who has the Palovia, so it will be interesting to learn how they compare.
