Have any of you ladies tried this? If so, how well does it work? I have been a faithful waxer for 25+ years and would only consider giving it up if this tool provides better results. Any opinions will be appreciated.

I hope someone with some information will follow up on this.
Would really appreciate some advice about this product.

I have pcos and can grow a full beard if I let it. I have now given this 10 full face treatments and see a tremendous difference. I was in tears on level 3 but hubby's said ice my face to numb it now I'm on level 5 no problems. Yes hair is there but it's thinner and takes longer to grow I can split a hotel room and wakeup without rushing to the bathroom to fix my face before they wake up.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
This completely useless and a waste of money. I gave it the full trial run for 5 sessions and no difference at all. I fit the skin/hair color criteria but yet it still didn't work.
I called the company (the store told me I had to contact the manufacturer not them if it didn't work) as I wanted my money back - over $500 - but they said no since it only has a 30 day money back guarantee. How do you know in 30 days!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Love it

I have used another layer that slowed down growth. I finally took the plunge and bought the Tria after reading reviews for over a year. It is light weight and so easy. The cord free makes it easier to move around. I love it so far. I use the highest setting and have no problems so far. Started on lower legs and then will move on up.

Comments about Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X:
I ordered this laser hair remover about 2 months ago. The instructions say to use it every other week, however, in the beginning I used it once a week because the level of strength I was using was about 1-2 out of 5 in many areas.
I am currently working on my lower legs (knees and below), underarms, under belly button to top of bikini line and leg bikini areas. I have definitely seen an improvement. Some sections on my legs are completely done already...can't even see the pores anymore. I'm still working on the bottom half of my shin where the hair is more pokey and dark. I usually use a 2 in this particular area.
When I started my underarms, I didn't shave the whole week so I could see if it was working (hey, it was winter time!). At first, it was really gross by day 7 again but now it's drastically thinning out and disappearing. This area might be taking a bit longer for me because I'm only using levels 1-2.
When I was treating the knee and surrounding area, I used a 5 and couldn't even feel it most of the time. Bikini line is usually a 3 and below the belly button is a 3. However, the top part of the bikini line is a 1-2!
The "pain" you feel is a quick plucking sensation accompanied by a little heat. And as the instructions say, the higher the intensity level of the laser, the higher the "pain". Some people might be able to handle a 5 all over though...you never know. I do agree that higher levels have faster results. For me, my skin does not get red, itchy or anything when I use it. As soon as I shave and get out of the shower, I use the Tria. I'd say my overall treatment time is maybe 15-20 minutes. Also, the lighter your skin and the darker the hair, the better for the laser.
The devise is almost like the size of a hotel hair dryer. It's super easy to use and the rechargeable battery has lasted very well for me. I think I've only charged it once besides when I took it out of the box.
Overall, for the price, convenience of doing it at home (where I'd have to drive at least an hour for treatments) and the results, I think this is a great purchase. I recommend it to my friends all the time! Hopefully in the next month or so I'll be done!

This is hands down one of the best products I have ever purchased, if not THE best. For years I had to pluck hairs from my chin and lower cheeks. I used Tria a year ago as instructed and they are gone baby, gone. I now do quarterly treatments (once a week for four consecutive weeks) as maintenance. Yes, it costs a lot but it works, it really works!

this is the best facial hair removal system! If you want to remove large areas on your legs maybe not. But i am not sure. I got it for my face and have used it for a year. It removed my dark stubble on my chin. I am 52 and with the changes came a lovely gift of facial hair uggg!!!! Thank you tria! I have to occasionally do up keep but it sure beats the options. I have been happy and i have no burn or excessive pain i don't know how people have that problem. I do however have fair skin with dark hair.

Love it! As long as you use it as instructed and have the skin/hair color combinations listed as "safe" it will work beautifully.
Saw results within the first week - about 25% of hair follicles were deactivated with my first treatment. Few weeks in it's at 50%. Also noticed an added benefit; a few age spots / sun spots in a treatment area faded & disappeared.. The laser targets melanin pigment of a certain shade whether it's hair or sunspot - BONUS!
Worth every penny knowing I will never have to wax again.
A few pointers:
- Tria makes a "fan noise" as it cools while you use it (especially in a warm room), and also spontaneously makes that noise while it's docked & charging (but there's a 'silent mode' to stop this, which slows the recharge time. Info about this is in Tria manual).
- Per one full charge, I was able to treat one lower leg or one upper leg at a time, then had to wait an hour for Tria to recharge. That's 2 hours total to do both legs (plus down time to recharge between treatments).. Basically I've had to schedule a "spa day" at home twice a month to treat all areas twice per month, as instructed. Still, time well spent compared to shaving (daily 10 min shaving adds up to 5 hours total per month). Plus with Tria there's an end in sight.. It takes less and less time as hair gradually stops growing back & disappears completely.
- Underarms take about 5-10 minutes total for both, super easy.
- Start by testing each area you plan to treat and find the setting that feels most comfortable for that area (level depends on hair shade and thickness).
- Going over the level you're comfortable with can give you a bit of a zing & sizzle; this is a professional grade laser and you'll feel it, so set the power level to what's comfortable - it will still work.
- If you ice the area briefly before treating, you may get comfortable enough to go up a power level.
- Enjoy your treatment and combine it with your fav music, a face mask, a cup of tea / latte or whatever else makes you happy to build a positive association with the laser sessions. It helped me look forward to my "spa day" and stay on schedule with the treatments.
Hope this helps.

@sonechko...thanks for providing these reviews! Sounds like a lot of work. I'll probably watch it on QVC, but in reading the reviews I'm not ready to give up my waxing appointments!

You are welcome @SurferWife. Not really much work - just one block of cut and paste text, and a long, fun read for you, girl!
p.s. I misconstrued what you said, @SurferWife! Now I've finally got what you mean when you said "a lot of work" I have to agree, even with facial mask on and a latte, you still the one to do a couple hour treatment all by yourself! A lot of work, I'd say.

LOL @sonechko! It seems like a lot of work to use the Tria! Much easier to disrobe and lay on a comfy table while the esthetician does all the work!
