What I HAVE learned is that some of these devices DO work. NuFace and LightStim for me -- big time. People have the right to try for themselves, and if it doesn't work for them, THEN take a trip. Blanket statements proclaiming none of them work is not factual.

You can treat your entire face at one time. It gets great reviews! It's been available in Canada for quite some time.Did you try the PaloVia, LMB? It was my sense that you could actually use it all over your face (if you didn't exceed your 25 jolt allotment :-) and that it was just FDA cleared for the eye area. Much like LightStim was FDA okay for eye area only, but once the trials were complete, approval was granted for the entire face.
Please do file reports! :-) I'm very interested in learning about this -- I think a lot of us are!
EDIT -- I just watched the videos on the Tria site. This is really different than the PaloVia! No "point and shoot" -- just glide all over the face. Is it really as easy as it looks?
Yes, I have the PaloVia and I like it. It's best for targeting specific areas: my upper lip, 11's and a line by the side of my mouth. I had a hard time using it on my crow's feet because that area is super sensitive on me (probably because of Tazorac)...my eyes look terrible after using it...red, dry, crinkly and you can see the stamp marks. I still use it for the other areas though and will continue to have it on hand.
I get a little red from the Tria, but it hasn't been all that drying for me. There are no stamp marks and yes, you just glide it over your face. That's what I meant by saying you treat your entire face. With the PaloVia, even if you weren't restricted to 25 times, it would be nearly impossible to do your whole face because of the stamping motion. So far, I like both, but for different reasons.
I will report back. On a side note, in the US, this was approved for 5 days a week for 12 weeks. In Canada, it was approved for 7 days a week for 8 weeks (take one month off before treating again). I plan to follow the latter plan.

I'm anxious to see if the Tria TSV on March 28th is this device!
Yes - just wanted to give you a heads-up. I was actually surprised to see that there was another Tria TSV since they just had one- so got me thinking that it might be this.

I disagree...I love my gadgets (although, I also like perfume, clothes, etc)!! Seeing nice results is very rewarding and frankly, I'm glad to have a fun hobby {all things beauty} that allows me an opportunity to improve myself-- inside and out! Plus, I know that my experiences have also helped others to find things that bring them enjoyment, To each their own!

Interesting about the different approval treatment lengths. I would think (and you confirmed) that the PV is more directed. And yeah, it would take SO LONG to do your entire face! The thread I was reading was from 2011 (first time QVC sold it) and I kept wondering if something better had come along since then. Lo! Behold! Looking forward to trying the Tria! Thanks for the report!!

How can that be? The Big Guns laser doesn't show real results that quickly.Ha ha ha! No doubt, fine lines and wrinkles are nothing. You crack me up with your "obsessions". I can totally relate. I'm always interested in the latest in anti-aging. But the past year, I've been more obsessed with arthritis. Which, thankfully, is under control right now. So now, I'm free to obsess about my face and neck again :-) Anyway, I tried the Palovia, but it died on me. I got a replacement, but it made my face too red. So, I quit using it.And a pet peeve -- I am so tired of "FINE lines and wrinkles". I am so beyond that. If I only had FINE lines and wrinkles I wouldn't be dropping $500 on gadgets and rolling needles all over my face. I really want something that says "addresses cavernous wrinkles". Anybody else?
My best friend's sister just told me she's found some relief for her arthritis from Turmeric. She said it really helped with pain. Worth a try? So sorry to hear you're dealing with that. Kind of puts things in perspective. Happy to hear it's under control!
I just read that Andrew Lessman will be offering a turmeric supplement if interested. He has an article on it on his website procapslaboratories dot com.
Hyacinth
I'll check out his site. I think very highly of him -- thanks!

Just wondering if these other tools especially tria are the same or stronger. ThanksI don't have that device, but it looks like a LED (with ultrasound or ultrasonic technology), not a laser. Probably more similar to Truth in Aging's Ultra Renew. My LightStim is LED and used for wrinkles and overall skin health. However, I don't think it's fair to say that light therapy and laser therapy are equivalent even if they aim to treat similar issues.
