My guess is that it suits HER generation - old lady.

I bought a bottle years ago.  I thought it smelled like stink...just awful....sweet and sticky.

At work a coworker mentioned that she loved Tova but couldn't afford it,  I told her I had an almost new bottle she could have. She was thrilled.

I had to ask her not to wear it around me.  I am not really negative about scents, but that one was not to my liking at all.

I have never smelled it on anyone when out and about.

Just received a bottle today.  I had put it on waitlist a few months ago.  This bottle is for a friend of mine.  She used to wear it but hasn't been able to find it.

I am 64, and do not consider my self OLD LADY....I am no good at describing the fragrance, just order and find out as any perfume can smell different on each woman.  I find it to be a 'soft' fragrance.

I just received my bottle I ordered last week when it came back in stock. It smells exactly like I remember. I should have ordered more!

I don’t know how to describe it but it’s just a lovely scent that seems to boost my mood. I don’t know what they put in this stuff but it does something to my brain that makes me instantly happy and it’s very calming. It’s not overwhelming and it’s a very light clean scent.

I wore Tova from day one when she first appeared on QVC with Ernie.  I wore it for so many years, and then when she sold the company to QVC, the scent quickly changed.  This is absolutely not the same as the original  but it's as close as you're going to get and very pretty IMO.  I get a fraction of the compliments that I used to get and it doesn't last as long.   This latest version is the best since the change.

Because of all the regulations and various ingredients now regulated and unavailable (for all perfumes)  the perfume cannot be the exact same as it was, no matter how we wish it were.  I would say try it ....   they've done a good job with this one (and I hope we're talking about the same one since they've changed it so many times).

HOW RUDE OF YOU...    classics cross all generations.  One day maybe you'll understand that.  Maybe not!
