@Nataliesgramma- what did you order?
I'm 68 and tweaking my makeup here and there. GMA Steals & Deals had specials on LG's website last spring and I bought a kit with a little bit of everything in it. I did not like the Spackle - I wear primers for oil control, and Spackle made my skin very greasy. If you have dry skin, you might like it. I tossed it.
My Mally neutralizing primer combined with LG's Balance & Brighten is nice coverage for me. It covers all my blotchy skin and stays matte all day (this is a h-u-g-e plus for me since I have oily skin). The B&B does not accentuate fine lines or pores (but maybe that's the Mally primer too). It's great when I'm in a hurry.
LG StyleLash Mascara - liked it. Didn't clump or smear on me and gave me the look I want in one coat. May re-order if I find it on sale again.
Apricot baked blush went on darker than it appeared and turned darker by the hour. Tossed.
"Watermelon" Love-Me-Dew lip crayon is a gorgeous color and very creamy and moisturizing. I've almost used it all up already!
There was much more in the kit... but I do like the B&B when I'm in a hurry, and the Love-Me-Dew lip crayon especially.
Good luck!

@Nataliesgramma, I purchased her blush once and did not like it at all. When you placed the brush on the blush, the powder was all over everything. I sent it back. I do like some of her lipsticks. I stick with Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer. My skin is normal but I prefer the consistency of the oil-free and it evens out the skin tone and it does not look like you are wearing makeup. If I use powder it is Laura Mercier's translucent powder which is so finely milled it does not look like you are wearing any. :cathappy:

I had tried the Balance and Brighten. I was not ready for glitter all over my face. I am 66 and I think glitter looks silly on my face. Maybe if I was 16 again - that would be the look I am going for.

Am 65 and love LG's balance and brighten, use her blush in a powder as well as Clinique blush in a cream,
also use LG bronzer.
I use it illumination to sparingly highlight inner eye, cheek bones.
Eyes- Clinique eye shadow, Clinique brow powder, Clinique eye liner- can't wear mascara too irritating
Use Revlon eye pencil to line bottom lid
NYC lipstick and Neutragena lip gloss
Most importantly is DHC Velvet Skin underneath - it is a
primer.
I am consistently taken as younger- by T least 10 years.
So I think it works for me.
FYI- I have very ****** skin so I don't need a heavy foundation, I find liquids and creams settle in lines and
accentuate pores.

I think Laura has several foundations other than Balance & Brighten. I wasn't a fan of that particular foundation nor of the Bronze N Brighten. I'm not a huge fan of any baked products because I think they are just too inconsistent in color. My first Balance & Brighten foundation was too light but the next one had too much brown and was too muddy and dark. Plus I have drier skin so it wasn't a great foundation for my skin.
Her liners and mascara I couldn't use because they made my eyes water but I have super sensitive eyes and this is a problem with a lot of eye products I try.
I loved her Spackle when it came as part of a kit. But I'm not a real primer fan so it's not something I'd buy on its own. I have used her blush and liked them but I've not like the brushes they came with. I used other brushes.
I ordered the large eyeshadow kit because the colors all seemed wearable to me and I'm really tired of wearing brown all the time. Maybe this will get me out of that rut.

I think sometimes her packaging and products are prettier than how her products perform. Most do not work for me.

Most of her products haven't worked for me either. I love watching her and she seems like she would be a fun friend, but I have probably returned 90% of what I have bought of her line. Therefore, I think 3 times before ordering now. Original Bal. and Brighten was horrible on me. I also didn't like Spackle. Bought her "apricot color" powder recently and probably shouldn't have kept it either. It is just okay--nothing special at all.

Generally I wear no make up (too lazy) but I love her baked blushes and eye shadows, and I really like her lip products!

Bought the consealer, foundation, blush..... I like the clush, the foundation and consealer I didn't care for.

I actually like balance n brighten as my foundation. I find it looks even better a few minutes after I put it on. Just remember, less is more. Her baked elements foundation is also very nice. Also bronze n brighten is great. I find her line quick and easy and not so heavy without a flat look. Hope you enjoy.
I bought the foundation ....blush...concealer and Tropical colors eyeshadow kits. My face also tends to be on the oily side.
Clinique used to be my favorite ....but made my face break out.
