H*** no!

No to any kind of facial scrub for me. I prefer mild chemical exfoliation and also a soft cotton muslin cloth.

Re: Tired of buying expensive scrubs?

No exfoliating scrubs should be used on the face.

With continued use they cause broken capillaries

which will give you a rosacea like appearance on cheeks and nose. Especially those on the fairer side.

I did it a long time ago so speak from experience.  Cost me $$$ to have them lasered off. Never did it again.  I use various mild acids now.

This reminds me of someone who used a Magic Eraser on her face, and regretted it.

I had a friend use a Magic Eraser on her arm to get paint off.  She regretted it too!

Nope.  Thanks, but I have to wear this complexion for the rest of my life and won't use anything that harsh on my skin.

It's the name, I guess, that sounds kind of harsh. But no more harsh than anything else that is physically abrasive to the skin.

Re: Tired of buying expensive scrubs?

I use a bar of Kiss My Face olive oil soap and bath gloves. I used to use a scrub years ago. ... bath gloves and soap give much better results.
