She did as much as she could, but said they're using too many ingredients now to test. She used my back and both thighs. ALL plants and botanicals showed up, but not what some consider to be chemicals. But actually they're natural too, like mineral oil and petrolatum. She doesn't know what to do with me, lol! She said they're making a lot of awful products because of the ingredients used. Also said that because of us baby boomers, theyre making a lot of anti-aging that is irritating and not great for us. She believes we over exfoliate. Said that many are overdoing glycolics and retinols - she sees this all the time in her practice.

Well, I love CeraVe, but that's a no for you, so...
Clinique Take the Day Off? Eucerin? Cetaphil? I wouldn't advise Purity...
How about using Neutrogena wipes and then just rinsing off in shower?
Amino Pon bar?? Neutogena glycerin bar?
Oops---I see that you tried some of these...
How about Bioderma?

The oatmeal cleanser would just be oatmeal and water. Honey would just be honey alone. A lot of DIY recipes are natural and simple like this - no plants or botanicals.

Honey and Yogurt sounds like your best bet!

I know First Aid Beauty cleanser is good for sensitive skin, but I believe it does have botanical in it. You might want to take a look at LUSH.com. A lot of the ingredients are natural, but maybe there is a cleanser that would be okay for you.

You may want to take a look at Avalon Organics soap-free facial cleanser.CoQ10 Repair or alba Botanica Hawaiian Facial wash (hypo-allergic). You would have to check out the ingredients to see if either one would work for you but I have both and neither one will dry your skin. My skin is sensitive too.

VMV hypoallergenics Superskin Moisture Rich Creammmy Cleansing Milk for Dry Skin or their Red Better Deeply Soothing Cleansing Cream might work for you. Not super cheap but lasts a long time. But I also agree with someone else and ask your Derm what he/she recommends, especially due to all your sensitivities and issues.
I can't use Burts bees products either because they use extracts and oils that are known irritants.

Emu oil is natural but you may be reacting to the animal properties. Just some thoughts. A cleanser might not be dissolving all the residue from what you're using now so it's a vicious circle. I'd get a Derm Dr. consult & start over with lighter but nourishing products & gentle cleanser to rebalance. Skin easily confused! Good luck. I've used Purity for years with clarisonic but NEVER those heavy greasy chemical products you use. Toss them out IMO !
I've had the best luck with Emu Oil, and they even use it on burn victims. Very anti-inflammatory and soothing. I've used Vaseline for over 30 yrs. both day and night. I've used mineral oil for as long as I remember. It's when I started trying NEW things like natural products that I got into trouble. Purity gave me the worse rash ever. Read the ingredients and you will be shocked! You're putting Pepper on your face! I do well with heavy and greasy, otherwise I get flakey and even drier. I even tried Vanicream, which many can use, but it has EDTA, BHT, BHA and other not too great ingredients. Pharmacies use this as a base for mixing products!

I have sensitive skin and agree with what your dr. says about overdoing it with the anti-aging bla, bla.
A couple of weeks ago I needed soap and bought 3 bars of plain old-fashioned Castille soap at QVC! It has an olive oil base and I can tell a huge difference in my hands which I wash frequently with it throughout the day. They are much smoother than they've been in years.
I had been using the drugstore liquid hand soap, Dove and Yardleys before.
My face also feels better and the skin tone is more even (less redness). I have just been washing it every other day or so with the Clairisonic and applying argon oil as a moisturizer and then IT CC Cream if I am going out. Otherwise, if I am home and not wearing makeup I thought I'd try washing it less and I must say the results are good.
Before, I'd wash my face with the Clairisonic cleanser, Dove and Cerave but it would always be quite red and blotchy.
