Thoughts about Westmore Beauty Coverage, Foundation

I bought their concealer last year to put on your legs/arms. It is tricky to use and very heavy. I use it on my legs for spider veins because most people don't get too close to your ankles! I've used it on a couple of dark spots on my hands and it covers them but is very artificial looking but does last through hand-washing without coming off.

Now they are selling their foundation. Has anyone tried it? If its as heavy as their concealer, I would not want it on my face.

Thoughts?

Take a look at A301218. This was the original Westmore foundation that came out in a pump bottle. There are plenty of reviews. This is now offered in a tube with a different item # and looks like additional shades. I haven't watched the presentation, nor tried it in the tube.

I had ordered the first foundation. I found it thick and difficult to pump, unlike the on air presentations. Westmore CS suggested an exchange, asked for the batch number and were very conscientious and helpful. The 2nd bottle pumped freely, as advertised. It is not the same consistency as their body makeup product.  HTH

Thank you.

They presented it tonight and I wondered if anyone tried it. I'm afraid it would look too masky on the face. I'll look for the reviews.

There's a boatload of videos from QVC featuring a variety of models/applications which you can access via a Google search for Westmore foundation.

I did not feel this foundation to be mask like on me.

I tried a Westmore foundation sometime back. I ordered the lightest shade offered on Q, and it was very dark. Maybe they have reformulated since then.

I bought their shadow edit shadow eraser.  Did not work like it did in the presentations.  I returned it.  Also bought the finishing powder.  It  is okay so I will keep it due to cost of returns.  Not the best product I have ever bought.

ETA: It looks like they have recently added two shades -- porcelain and tan/deep, I believe.

@Ceci   Westmore has a Perfector for the Body which is $34 and waterproof.  They also offer a foundation and you should probably read the reviews to find out what the women are saying.

Their body perfector gets rave reviews on Facebook. I tried it one time but it rubbed off too easily. Then recently McKenzie posted on Facebook that you can't have any oil on your body at all. Including using a razor that might have aloe in the strip. My skin is so dry that I don't think I forego a hydrating body wash or moisturizer. So I have not tried it since. I will say that the color was very pretty and did hide imperfections.

Re: Thoughts about Westmore Beauty Coverage, Foundation

I love all the Westmore line.  I LOVE the body coverage----blurs all my dark spots and imperfections---- I am 67.  Sometimes I mix it with lotion that has NO OIL.  The foundation is great also.  I have had more compliments on my face than I have in 40 years!  I also love the concealer---mostly for light under eye problem---but it does not cover a really dark spot I have.  I also ordered the kit thiing----the eyeshadows are great.  It actually made me quit using regular eyeliner and just use the darkest shadow as eyeliner.  I guess all our skin is different and react in different ways---this line just seems to work for me!
