This surprised me

at the nail salon today getting a pedi and a gel polish mani. The young tech explained that she would not trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails because my skin is too thin- (absolutely true)-and it might cause bleeding or infection. She asked if this was ok. I keep my cuticles pushed back and soft so yes, this was quite ok with me. Normally they just dive in with their sharp tools and often cause painful nicks. I was so pleasantly surprised I am going to make an appt with her next time

How wonderful!!!👍 I respect her honesty!!! She sounds like a VERY responsible, experienced, and caring tech; DEFINITELY the kind I want working on my talons!😁 My former tech was excellent as well❤, but as we all know, it is NOT easy getting one that checks all the boxes! Congratulations on finding one so quickly that you TRUST!!!😊
