The Upcoming Full Moon - the Snow Moon - Saturday, Feb 24th at 7:30 a.m. EST
 
Look up into the sky this weekend to view the Snow Moon. It is the smallest moon of the year, also known as a micromoon, the term meaning the opposite of a supermoon.

The Full Moon name comes from a number of places, including Native American, Colonial American and European traditions. 

Welcoming the Snow Moon allows us to embrace quiet stillness and rest in the mystical calm of moonlight on the snow.

@Judaline     That's so interesting.  I saw on my iPad weather that there was going to be a full moon Saturday.  The term Snow Moon does sound peaceful and beautiful.
