This Is Why I Don't Think Women or Men Should Self Color Their Hair

I see what seems to be more and more women walking around with what I think is worse than seeing roots. They have two (sometimes) three colors to their hair and I don't mean shading. The root area is either lighter or darker then the bottom of their hair and the root area can be 1-10 inches. I guess I know what is happening...they are coloring their whole hair every time???

I confess, I have never colored my own hair but I thought today's products would be better.

I want to tell these people that their crowning glory looks awful. I imagine that this has a lot to do with the economy and people not wanting to spend dollars on a professional but IMO, it looks cheap. No beautiful jewelry or expensive handbag will help if your hair looks cheap. I do get my hair professionally done and I have had to give up things to get done this way.
