I love, love, love Ecotools brushes. Here in the Chicago area I get them at either Walgreen's or Target. They're as good or better than BE brushes.

All of ""Jane Iredale's"" brushes are the best. I have been using them for years and they are like brand new.

Wow, Hautelook has a Crown Brush event right now. There are some beautiful brushes and great prices on sets and individuals. They also have some e/s palettes and some foundation. Anyone ever try any of their makeup?

Re: Think it's time to replace my makeup brushes

I LOVE the IT brushes....BUT they are crazy expensive unless they come included with the make up from the Q.

I have one BE brush that came with a kit I ordered from the Q long ago that I really like also really like the $3.00 elf brushes from Target....nice brushes...amazing price...I have several Sonia K. too and agree that they are quite nice.

edited to correct...I recently bought an Essential Tools angle blush brush (super inexpensive) I wanted the IT angled brush but not for the price...I happened to see this brush, it looks similar, works great, I really like it! I do also have a couple Real Techniques brushes (angled foundation brush that I love) and they are GREAT and inexpensive, I am not sure if they will all hold up as long as the higher end brushes...but for the price I am VERY pleased. I love make up brushes, and actually have enough for 6 people already.

I personally don't care for the double ended brushes, to hard to store.

Brushes I haven't liked....Mally, Skinn, and the Elf 1.00 brushes, except the foundation brush.

Hi, Have tried some of the "infinity brushes" from Crown Brush, but not the m/u. I thought they were decent, for the price.
