I got the cherry almond formula, and I wish I'd managed to cancel the order before it shipped, but I wasn't fast enough. When it came I figured I'd give it a try. It smells lovely, quite fruity, and the scent lingers, even after rinsing the conditioner out. I let my hair air dry, and only had mild tangling, which brushed out, but my hair has no body or root lift at all, unlike it's usual condition after air drying from my usual hair care. In addition, my scalp feels dry and itchy. I will box it all up and send it back, and stick with my current line, from which I get the best hair of my entire life. I should never have tried a new line, not when my current one is perfect.
Forum post text from here on: I gave the shampoo/conditioner one star for lovely scent, but hair care quality is based on performace, not smell, and this stuff did not pan out.

Thanks for your review! I was tempted by the scent.
Which hair care product(s) do you use, that you love? (If you don't mind me asking!)

@KingstonMom I know I'll take heat for it and multiple nasty comments, but I use WEN products. Once I mastered the learning curve and started using it properly, I started getting fantastic results. I can heat style with no damage, never have split ends, the hair is always silky and shiny, never limp and clinging to my scalp, it's great. I can't take anything less, now that I've found such a great line.

@CamilleP I've been using Wen, also, since QVC started selling it. I'm fair and blonde, but I help the blonde along with color, so I need something gentle. I have found the same results as you... no damage with a hot iron, no split ends and my hair is silky and shiny. I'll stick with what works for me (and you). {*_*}

@CamilleP A quickie tip for volume while air drying: I always put tiny "claw clips" in areas I want height or volume...crown and where curls tend to have a mind of their own. If you grab a bit of hair into the clips at the scalp, they're a great solution at least for me. Using too many volumizing products dries out my hair (many have alcohol) and I also have to wash it more often.

@Shanus As long as I am using my WEN products, I don't have a problem with volume/root lift, it was the Aveda shampoo/conditioner that left my hair dull and flat. Thanks for the tip, though, that's a clever solution.
