I have been wearing some form of bob since 1988.

I wear an above-the-shoulder one-length bob. I grew out my layers and let my highlights grow out during this year of covid. My natural color now is light ash brown. I was surprised at how dark my hair had become over the last twenty years I had been highlighting it. I am 55 and don't have any gray yet. I was surprised about that too. Now that my hair is in a bob I have decided to keep this hairstyle for the rest of my life. It is the easiest most ageless hairstyle in the world!

I agree . I think bobs are beautiful , but not for me . I cut my hair into a short pixie when my hair went silver ,similar to a Sharon Stone pixe . I have oily skin even at 57 . Hair near my face or bangs never worked for me .

100% ITALIAN DESCENT, SO I HAVE THE BLACK HAIR MY MOM AND DAD HAVE.  LIGHT OLIVE COMPLEXION.  HAVE HAD THE SHORT CLEOPATRA BOB WITH THE SHORTER STRAIGHT BANGS FOR YEARS.  MY HAIR IS STRAIGHT SO IT WORKS FOR ME WITH NOT MUCH EFFORT.

I have a "bob", but I'm getting a little tired of the hair in my face since I have long locks in front.  Most around me say it is a good look.

This week I may either have a new "bob" with short bangs or an entirely different style, such as a pixie.  I'm active and gardening season is upon us.
