Someone gave me a Wen comb and it is hard plastic, yet when I read a description of one on QVC it says it's made of hard rubber. Those who have one can you tell me what yours feels like? Thanks. I do notice I am losing less hair with this comb. Yay!!

There are probably three WEN combs. The original comb was quite large and had tines that were flat on the edge. Some ppl felt it scraped their scalps. Then the comb was re-done. It was now shiny, said WEN on it in gold and had rounded tines. It was still fairly heavy. This Spring ppl started receiving yet another comb. The fine tines are very flexible. The comb is light and has a flimsy feel to it. Some ppl like it others don't but they are all genuine WEN combs.

Thanks! I do have a few strands that come out when I use it in the shower. I wish we could purchase these on their ownSmiley Happy.

Mine feels like a hard plastic but it is listed as rubber. There are no rough edges or seams - it is very smooth.

Looking at Ebay there are a few different styles. I use one I got at the dollar store. It works the same for my super fine, super thick hair. Being short probably helps combing my hair greatly!

You can purchase them at chazdean.com, Chaz' website. They are listed under Products, then Essentials. They aren't cheap combs, but are hand cut and are worth the price. It's a pretty good deal to buy them in a kit or with a product here because you're getting the comb for close to nothing. A225349 is a tea tree kit with 16 oz tea tree cc, 6 oz replenishing mist, 1 oz oil and the comb. The cc and the mist total $60, the price of the kit, so you're getting the oil and the comb free.

They feel like hard plastic to me. I wish it were rubber instead but I still like it.

I saw the WEN combs. They looked like wood to me. But I guess would be too rough on the scalp.

They aren't wood - they are hand cut hard rubber. Rubber cuts down on static, is a sustainable resource and since they are solid rubber, there's no paint, varnish, etc to wear off.
