I don't support businesses that:

- demean women

- add to the decay of society

Can you elaborate?  I've never felt that way about Ulta at all.  I'm curious what you're thinking, and if you can point to something specific.

@RainyDayGal  You're better off trying to find it yourself, which isn't too difficult.  If it's added to the conversation it will likely be grounds for deletion.

Not political. I have moral objections.

@ThinkingOutLoud  I respect your position.  It's given me pause, to reconsider my own.

I have no idea what this means.

I don't either.  Just a personal preference.  I got the catalog too.  Briefly looked at it and threw it away.

Re: The Ulta Holiday Sale Booklet Arrived

I wish companies and entertainers didn't feel the need to (or be pressured into) (public) political and moral stances.  I was on a website last night to make a purchase and front and center was their stance on abortion and that a certain $ amt goes towards funding it.  Why do I need to know Glow Recipe funds pro-abortion rights???

Good for you for growing your own food, making your own clothes and nearly all everyday products.  Of course I know you don't but that's about what you'd have to do if you didn't want to support our decaying society.

My Sephora is a baby one inside Pennys AND it's an hour away.  I've had some bad experiences in my localish Ulta so I won't go there.  Didn't like it as much as Sephora anyway.  The few times I've shopped Ulta online, they didn't carry brands I was looking for.  Covid forced us to shop online and I now prefer it.  If I want prestige, I'll shop Sephora.  If I want drugstore (which is rare), I'll shop WM.

That's what happened with the Ulta where I shop...bad experiences.  More than once.  Totally different vibe at Sephora and a lot more helpful.
