You are right on target, i am not sure many of the MAC colours or products would sell well. I love Mac and have worn it for years

I don't think MAC will ever be at QVC.

In the past, QVC has had Too Faced, Nars, and Urban Decay on the air, just to name a few of the m/u lines they have sold. They didn't last very long.

With Nars, ladies on the board complained about the product names. With Too Faced, they complained about the product names and the vendor rep, who was a young man.

Then when Urban Decay was there (they appeared around the late 90s--to around 2001), they complained that the products were too glittery and shimmery.

So, it doesn't really appear that Q is the place for lines like MAC, as long as Q's target audience is what it is.
