Re: The Ordinary's BHA (30%) and AHA (2%) Peeling Solution

The Ordinary is available on Ulta website and at the Ordinary website.  I would look over the Ordinary Website (Deciem... I think it's spelled), but the Ordinary will get you  there. They have great formulations for the cheap. I also listen to You Tube Dermatology Doctor Dray for guidance on use  of acids ... The Ordinary website will also give you usage guides for their products, such as AMor PM or both,what not to use, etc. Very helpful. It depends on how much exfoliation you have been doing with direct acidswhat your skin will tolerate. Double cleanse, toner, water based products , serum followed by moisturizer. Check out Beauty Pie.... and Yes Style for great  Asian  skin care products. I am 72, and horribly abused my skin by heavy summer tanning at the pool.... paying the price now, with some skin cancers and age spots...Have fun on your pursuit.

@SilleeMee probably a dumb question....could this product be used on the back of the hands for lightening age/sun spots....I also have a spot on my face that needs attention...it's really bugging me.

I sure wish someone would come out with a product that could be used on the actual dark spots and not an all over the face/hands.

@Mom2Dogs When I peel - I always do the back of my hands.  (I always put sunscreen on the back of the hands as well as the face and the neck.)

Do the math.

I appreciate your thread about this product @San Antonio Gal. I've actually had it my shopping card at The Ordinary's website and think it looks like it will be good for exfoliation.  I plan to place the order today and will let you know how it goes once I get it and use it.

@wildcat fan @Icegoddess  - I went ahead and placed an order at The Ordinary's site.  13.20 total.  You had to spend 25.00 for free shipping.

@San Antonio Gal Great!  I placed my order too. 😊

I was on the fence--not sure which products to order.  Argan or rose hip seed oil?  The Buffet?  Retinoids?  So many options!  I could stay on that website for hours.  😂

I love this product!! Been using it for a while now and it had made such a difference in my mid-50's skin. Its also available on the Sephora website and i think someone posted in another thread that they have free shipping/no minimum until the end of the month.

Re: The Ordinary's BHA (2%) and AHA (30%) Peeling Solution

I managed to get burned by this peel. The first time was fine after the 10-minute wait. But the second time it burned me and I left it on the same amount of time, 10 minutes. Now I have patches of hard dry skin, mostly on the lower part of my face...uuggh. I know I'm going to be peeling and flaking in the next few days. I think I'm going to cut the wait time to 8 minutes, no longer than that. I really liked it the first time. My skin was so smooth and soft. I want that back.

@SilleeMee  - sorry that happened.  Did you use it too soon a 2nd time?  How many days did you wait?

@San Antonio Gal

I waited a week. But since I use RetinA I think my skin might be sensitive. Another thing about the peel is after I rinse it off I can see my damp skin sloughing off as I blot it dry with a towel. Does that happen to you?
