There's a new Nick Chavez configuration set on QVC now. It's called the Home and Away Essentials. It comes with Nick's Plump 'N Thick 8 oz. shampoo and conditioner, Plump 'n Thick 2 oz. travel size shampoo and Conditioner, and one can of 3.5 oz. Starlet Shine Spray.

Also, a BRAND NEW Nick Chavez product will be on this Friday with a new product. It's new Velvet Mesquite Shampoo and Conditioning Creme. It's also sold at Nick's site separately. The bottles on this shampoo and conditioner say that it's both hydrating and thickening.

Also, Nick Chavez now FINALLY sells his Velvet Mesquite Styling Gel and Velvet Mesquite Hydrating and Thickening Hairspray on his site! Another new item at Nick's site is the POUF! Root Lifting Spray and it comes in a spray bottle, not a can. This is different from the POUF! Hair Raising Foam.

And lastly, another new Nick Chavez item configuration is Nick's Volumizing Extra Hold Hairspray Duo.

Now for a question. Does anyone here with thick, ethnic hair use Nick's Easy Styler? I'm in my 20's and have African American/Native American hair. Would Nick's Easy Styler work for my hair? I'm concerned that the hot brush/curling iron portion might get caught in my hair. Thanks in advanced for any replies.

When you click on the item, it looks like you'll get a gift to go along with the Starlet Shine Spray.

Just wanted to give a small update about Nick's Starlet Shine Spray. First, if you want to get the free gift that comes with it, you have to order item number S7781. That's the Starlet Shine with the free gift.

Second, QVC said that you'll get the free gift that comes with the Starlet Shine, but it'll ship out separately.

Being black, I reserve the right to call my hair whatever I'd like. If you are a person of colour, you get to as well, but I believe there was a great, respectful discussion going on in this thread before you came in with negativity. That said, Chaz often refers to ethnic hair and black hair as two different types. Before his website was redesigned, the how-to videos also showed these as two distinct types. The Ethnic videos seemed to refer to hair that is textured, thick, sometimes frizzy, hard to manage-a type often found in Middle Eastern, Italian, or Eastern European descent as opposed to black hair.
