@SilleeMee- I understand what you are saying but I am simply just repeating what these two derms said. Since skincare is not a science, having higher percentages increases the chance of more absorbtion. Even though THDA is bio-available since it can penetrate the skin doesn't nec mean all of the THDA will be in fact be absorbed due to external factors. Even though Dr. Dennis Gross IMO has over done corrective surgery, he's been my derm for so long now and I trust him.
But hon-for the record. I never said one needed a higher THDA percentage to be more effective. I merely just stated what two serums I use and love in my personal rotation. Thats it. I would never knock down someone else's choice of product. I'm not that kind of guy!
Thank you so much for your info! There's one other product I need your opinon on and I'll page you in another thread if you would be so kind. I'm only very well versed in the world of retinoids and acids unfortunately.

Anyway, she said that using Vitamin C AND Retinol is (she used an experession like, maybe "ganbusters!" but did it with expression and a fist into her palm motion) so I figured it must be good! BUT! She said any vita C except L-Ascorbic acid which will play havoc with your skin-they just don't go together. There's a newer Vitamin C that will suffice, as it's in her latest product. So I'll be trying it, as much as I don't like gels-just want to see what it can do for me.
If it helps, @Judaline, this serum is not a gel. It's thicker than water, but definitely not anything like a gel.
Really? The description said something like "gel like." I just thought it would be, well, like a gel, lol. Anyway, she said use it day and night but I love my daytime moisturizer so I suppose I'll put the 'gel' over my Retinol at night. thanks!

Apply the VC serum first and then the retinol.

I normally would, but this is a vitamin C and a gel moisturizer with final ingredient of glycerine so she says it's the final step . She says to let the retinol dry and smother it with this product. I'm going to try it. I hope I don't like it because it's costly, lol. (I know, then why am I even trying it in the first place?) Curiosity killed the cat. Geronimo!

I'm not seeing that. My screen shows regular shipping but there is a 25%-off code for select items, not for everything. I'm on my desktop.
