....an average of 3.5 pounds of lip product per year.  That seems like a lot of product ingested.  Even wearing a lip product daily, I don't think I injest anywhere close to 3.5 pounds.  They were saying that we should use their lip balm since it's safe - with all of us eating our lip products.

I think they are wrong.  I would be going through lipstick tubes a lot faster than I am.  I don't like their lip products because they go bad.

They are business men. I dont buy their "Neighbor" schtick. Everything they sell is overpriced.  I use Oil of Olay and have for decades. A fraction of the cost.

And for lip balms I recommend Burts Bees.

They are so silly.  They act silly and sound silly.  Making money off goats.

I googled and found a site saying 5 - 6 lbs of lip balm in a "lifetime".

All articles I read said it isn't enough to do any harm.

Don't believe it. I don't wear makeup every day.
When I was young I seldom wore color on my lips.
I always carried lip balm because I live in the desert.
I have been using Burt's Bee in rose, lately.

@San Antonio Gal They are waaay wrong! I KNOW I don't ingest that much in a year. Where do they get this "information"?? I never watch them. Now I know why.

You know, those men really have an opportunity to do some real good with their products.  I love the goats and hope they are good to them.

I just wish they were more believable and that I could use the products, but they dry me out for some reason.
