I have never seen this product presented.  IMO, it's way too overpriced.  There are many Korean first essences out there that are effective and more reasonably priced.

What Korean essence do you use @JeanLouiseFinch and where do you get it? Yes the Tacha is pretty expensive. I was watching the ph balancing product show tonight and it reminded me I used to use ph water my facialist used to sell. What do you know about these toners? I know you are 'in the know'.

@KCDiva - I started out using the regular Tony Moly but when they came out with a lite version I switched to that.  The regular has 94.5% Galactomyces ferment filtrate and the lite version has 96.5%.  These are both higher concentrations than the often popular Missha Time Revolution and are much more reasonably priced than the SK-II.  I usually purchase mine on Amazon.  I just bought a new bottle last week for around $22 and it's right around 5 oz.  To my knowledge, the essence isn't really a toner per se.  I don't use it to normalize the pH after cleansing.  I use it because it brightens and softens the skin, to prepare it for other products (serums) that will follow and to help them penetrate better, deeper.  You can apply it with a cotton pad, if you prefer, but I think there's a lot of waste to that method.  I just pour a little in my hand, rub both hands together and press it around my face and neck.

Thanks for the link.  This discussion has convinced me to actually use Dimitri's Enriched Softening Essence - much more impressive ingredient deck than the "natural" essences, fermented or not - real actives!

I tried the Skinn Enriched Softening Essence and didn't care for it.  It felt too thick and slippery to me.

I have Skinn Softening Essence and it doesn't feel slippery at all. My skin is super dry. Not sure what it use to help with hydration. Whether to continue with Skinn or try something else. I was thinking of Josie Maran's Nirvana Hydrating treatment mist. @JeanLouiseFinch recommendation of an essence looks interesting. I have it in my cart at Amazon.
