$50 for TINY sample size products! Who cares how much the full size cost, this is ridiculous! Plus the fact that they keep saying that they will last for about two weeks!!! Who spends $50 every two weeks on skincare! Do they really think we are all that dumb to fall for this "value"?

It's supposed to last a month. Your question about who spends $50.00 every two weeks on skin care..many women do, especially if they're seeing a dermatologist.

I think the reason I'm disappointed in this TSV is that this configuration has been offered before for $52. So it is not really a deal and Tatcha has been around long enough that they should've had a new and different configuration. This has a been there, done that feel and therefor is unappealing to me. Hopefully the next one will be more exciting.

This Tatcha kit is worth every dime. A little bit goes a long way. I started using it in January and I could tell a difference in the smoothness of my skin in about a week. By June people were actually asking me what I was doing to make my face look so good. I'm 62 years old and I've used a lot of products, but I am never going to use anything else as long as I can afford to purchase it. It isn't any more expensive than other products in the long run, because it lasts a very long time.
Yes, it is well worth $50.00 to try it.

I bought a trial size direct from Tatcha about 2 years ago for less than the TSV and it had more items.
However, the TSV configuration sells on the Tatcha site for $59 and there are rave reviews. I think they could've added one or two other trial sizes to make it different and a better value for QVC IMO.

Agreed! For a TSV, you would think they would make it $39 or add in a few more trial sizes. Definite pass for me, and I've been wanting to try Tatcha!

I think if one travels a long weekend or more and can refill these that's nice to have...but to last only for two weeks? Wow thought Shawn or someone else said it would last a month to get an idea if you like it ..or to see results.
I used and still have her cleansing oil..it's nice but found others and they do the same....they are everywhere now. The rice powder that came with it when first launched bothered my skin...made it red and itchy. I tried all of the different strengths of the rice powder and no like. I cleanse once and done with the oil. I think these are too small to see if they are going to be efficient. However, if someone would like to try D's and see if they break out or have a reaction would be good way to try...but many do not like to clean with oils so it's a hard thing to set up when making up a kit for a TSV. Tatcha has a good thing going, an Asian skin care she represents very well and the story behind it. But as one woman told me at Nordstrom a while back when I was sampling products there she said it's always nice to try something that's been around a while tried-and-true, I happen to agree!! I don't see hydrating elements but not much more in Tatchas line. The oil was nice...but DHC and MAC are just as effective!

Since the woman selling Tatcha frequently mentions the red algea that she supposedly gets from the seas near Okinawa, Japan, I decided to look it up. The red algea (chondrus crispus) she is talking about is also known as carrageen. As most know, carrageen is a thickening additive for foods and cosmetics. This red algea is also found in other oceans and is very common along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coast of Europe and North America.
