Tarte foundation question. Yellow coloring......

Ok, so I got the TSV today that I pre-ordered. I was so anxious to finally take a look at the foundation. I ordered one in the light and one in the med because, like most of us, I didn't know what color to get...anyway. I am kind of bummed, the light looks very yellow to me. I only tried it on the back on my hand, but it definitely had a yellow coloring to it. If it didn't, I think it would be the perfect color. Is there anyway to balance out the yellow to it?! I may keep it for all the other pieces which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
