I agree.  Email, rather than calling, seems to be the better way to go.

 

I'm happy to provide an update:  I received a reply via email, indicating that a replacement would be sent and I would receive a confirmation email when the order was placed and then another email when it was shipped.  

 

No other emails arrived, but literally 5 minutes ago, my doorbell rang and there was a FedEx guy with a package from Tarte!  Talk about fast service!

 

The rep on the phone had told me that the lip paint should have been sealed, but this one wasn't either and it looks just fine, so I assume she was incorrect.  I am definitely sticking with email from now on.  :-)
