I walk my dog a lot and wear walking shoes with capri length pants.

For Father's Day I got a little bit dressed up  --  Susan Graver liquid knit capris and top, jewelry, and dressy sandals.

When I looked in the mirror I saw tan legs with white feet in the sandals - it was not a good look.

Any one else have the same problem?

I guess the only "fix" would be to put sunless tanner on the feet??   Any other suggestions?

You have a golfers tan!  My husbands feet are lily white compared to his legs because he spends a lot of time on the golf course.  Since he wears a glove on one hand that hand is white too.

I walk 3-5 miles 5 days a week and am so happy in the summer when I can wear my fitness sandals.  However, I get stripped feet.  We're quite the pair.

I wear full length pants and closed shoes to walk my dog. I would be covered in bug bites, scratches, and sunburn if I wore anything else.

@Iwantcoffee ....same here and I add a very thin long sleeve tee to prevent having to slather spf on arms and legs....

Body bronzers/makeup work nicely if you don't want the inconveniences of a self tanner and then when you're done with that special occasion just wash it off in the shower, be done with it.

I immediately thought of my grandfather who played golf everyday in AZ. All tan except for white feet. I miss him

@Shanus   I hope you realize you can burn right through those thin tees.  I once wore a yellow and white stripped tee to an air show where I was in the sun all day.  That night when I removed the shirt I had perfect pink and white stripes all across my back.  My tee wasn't so thin either.

I’m a golfer so I have this problem too. I just roll with it.

The same thing happens to me when I wear sneakers with shorts. It also happened when I wore crop jeans last year.
I ended up with white feet, a tan from the ankle to where the crop jean hit, and paler legs above that. 😱

I use a bit of self tanner or Sally Hansen leg makeup mixed with body lotion to try to even out my skin tone. It's not perfect, but it helps.
