The products look really good but are they really worth the cost?

I tried Tacha a couple of years ago with a one-month sample of four products that the Q was selling. I really liked the products. If I recall correctly, it included the cleansing oil, a powder exfoliate, serum, and cream. Loved all four and used them up during that month. I felt they were well worth the $52 I paid for that sampler size.
However, I went back to Perricone because his products have more of a firming effect on my skin, which is what I want at this stage of the game.
If there comes a time when I cannot afford Perricone, or they stop working as well for me as they do now, I would jump on the Tacha bandwagon in a heartbeat. I watched the presentations yesterday and still believe they are good products. And maybe some of the other products now in the line that I did not use the first time around have the firming aspect to it.
I recently returned from two weeks in Japan and talked with a geisha. I asked what she does to have such beautiful skin when all the white makeup is off. She said that all she uses is mineral water and moisturizer. Other Japanese I asked when seeing how few wrinkles they had basically said the same thing and added "good nutrition."
And no, I did not see any Tacha products while in Japan, and I looked for them. ![]()

The packaging containers are pretty - but the contents are not worth it to me. I finally threw the oil cleanser away - hard bottle, couldn't get the 'soap' out, squeezed so hard the medallion fell off. Had to keep bottle upside down. The rinsing of face was an ordeal getting oil off.

I'm sure they're great, @CherryHugs, but not worth the cost, IMO. When Tatcha was first introduced on QVC, I was intrigued by the concept but couldn't bring myself to paying the cost. I went on a search and discovered Dr. Young Camellia Deep Cleansing Oil on Amazon. I've been using it ever since. There are many options for rice bran and enzyme cleansing powders on Amazon too. I've used a few of them. Most Korean products have have very simple packaging, but that doesn't matter to me. I don't want to pay double the price for something just because it comes in a pretty bottle.

I tried the rice powder cleanser & cleansing oil duo a few months back and I wanted it t work, but I was one of the very few where the rice powder didn't agree with my skin. I ended up with red patches and had to stop. However, the cleansing oil was really nice. It was gentle and felt nice on my skin, but it took a lot to completely clean the makeup off my face. I needed more than what was stated in the video. So, although I really like the cleansing oil, I couldn't justify the cost. The Tacha reviews are pretty good and you always have the option of returning. I say take the plunge and see what you think.

I also use the Dr. Young's Cleansing Oil from Amazon. I tried one of the rice powder enzyme exfoliator dupes, but just don't care for it. I often feel like I don't get it all off my face and then it feels gritty.

The only item I use in this line is THE WATER CREAM, which I love.
I have combo skin and have tried many, many creams that were just TOO heavy for me. This cream is lighter, but still moisturizes my skin. A little goes a long way, I use about a dime size and cover my face and neck.
