TWEAK’D DOWNSIDE

[ Edited ]

I meant to mention this yesterday. Apologies. When I tried Tweak'd in the past, the issue for me was using the deep conditioner on dry hair. It seemed weird to begin with, but did the treatments until most of the brown jar of finished.

Most other deep conditioners are applied on already shampooed damp hair, so just gets rinsed out. The Tweak'd being applied on dry hair, not washed yet, has to to be shampooed out...most of the deep conditioning benefits, I felt, went down the shower drain.

The shampoos and conditioners are great, just no more tubs of deep conditioner treatments for me.

I agree.  It made my hair feel very dirty.

@tsavorite   I'm not sure, but think they said it was a deep ckeanser/conditioner applied to dry hair, add water and turns into shampoo. To me that's anti-productive...washing out a deep conditioner.

@dex   Don't want to start "anything", but my hair never felt clean no matter how I used it.

I used to use Ojon treatment and there were times that I loved it and other times felt that my hair was too dry. Never thought that the benefits were being washed out when I shampooed. It does make sense that once the hair is shampooed everything is getting washed away. I have not tried Tweak'd version of the treatment tub but I have used their other products.

I ordered the tsv. I probably shouldn't have because I didn't like the smell of ojon in the past. Just hoping these smell better and work on my hair.

This system makes no sense to me, and I am not interested in using products that are this much trouble.  WEN was bad enough, and I never experienced those great results they always rave about.  I don't care to have my hair in those styles they show either.  Easy pass.  And, what's up with the pricing????  Good grief.
