I would love these to be made in microfiber so they do less damage to my hair. There isn't a separate forum for this. Anyone find that terry towels cause frizz & breakage?

They do make a microfiber version. I have not seen them offered at QVC, they are available at BB&B. Hope this helps.

I have both and prefer the terry cloth ones. The microfiber seems to hold the water in my hair.

I don't wrap them tight on my head. Wish I could send you my microfiber ones...

They do; you can buy them at Walmart and Walgreens...maybe CVS and RiteAid.

I hate the microfiber ones; they didn't absorb water and my hair was always full of static with them. I purchased the cotton ones and the difference was amazing; LOVE THEM. I've since ordered 2 more sets as the cotton ones are hard to find. I threw away my microfiber turbies.

Re: TURBY TOWELS

[ Edited ]

@Shanus Marshalls is a great place to get microfiber turbies & hair towels. They carry several different brands. Most are a little bigger & absorb better than the turbie twist brand.

Also they have microfiber yoga towels are great for bath towels Smiley Very Happy

Not officially Turbie Towels, but I found a similarly styled towel, in microfiber, in the H & B area of the Meijer supermarket where I shop - 2 in a package for about $6.00.

I bought some at Dollar Tree but I like the terry ones the best.

No matter what you use, never rub your hair when wet, just squeeze in a gentle way to get out excess water. Rubbing can cause frizz.

I just ordered this set...I have looked all over for cotton turbie twists in Marshalls, TJMaxx, CVS.. and they only Have microfiber. Grab this set if you only like the 100% cotton! 🙂

I have tried the Turbie brand in the past, but they were never big enough to hold all my hair. I ordered one from Brookstone online and it's the Aquas brand. A lot bigger than the Turbie.

I have the originals from years ago.  Got them at Big Lots. They sure hold up well!
