That was not a good color for Jane, I think if you're a kid maybe, but the older models looked strange in the self tanner too.

I didn't see the show. I too am freckled and fair, the only self tanner I will put on my face is Clarins and I only do it lightly (not everyday), just to give a little color. My legs and arms I use Loreal, but am goin to try the Tan Towels. Feel bad that Maureen ( I like her) and Jane looked muddy ![]()

I thought Jane looked really good. It was just a different look (she had a tan) and I think Tarte's self tanner looks the most natural from what I have seen on the Q.

Yikes. Think I'll keep on tinkering with my Vita Liberata for a while longer. Wondered if this might be an alternative, since I usually like Tarte products, but this doesn't sound at all promising!

I just watched a couple of videos from yesterday's shoe show.....and I agree with your comment.
The product has amazing reviews!!!

I am just now watching the show and although I don't think it is as drastic as not being able to recognize her (tongue in cheek statement I am sure
), I do think it does not look good on her. She looks pretty with her regular pretty fair skin. Maureen also did not look good with it- looked muddy on her face.

Jane was the wrong host to show this tanning item. Her skin is so fair....Jane looked like she had been dipped in face paint! I felt so sorry for her and was amazed that the show's stylists allowed her to go on without touching her up! I can't imagine that presentation would encourage anyone to purchase the TSV.

I also thought Maureen did not look good in the tanner last night. Seemed blotchy and very uneven and not a flattering color. I didn't see Jane.

I agree!! They all looked bad in the tanner. I don't even know what color to call it.

I like the subtle color that this product gives to my very fair skin. I might consider the Tarte product for my body - - but after seeing the faces, I would be scared to death to try the towelettes on my face.
I use the Jergens for Face, also. It gives a very subtle color, just enough to go along with Tan Towels on legs, etc.
I didn't care for the color on any of the ladies. It was just muddy looking on everyone, except Sharon. Sharon said she had it on, but it was barely noticeable. Sharon has very beautiful skin, and I don't think she would ruin that with most.
A good bronzer is enough for my face.
