TSV CHRISTMAS GIFT PACKAGING?

Wow! It's more than a month until Halloween!! Isn't it jumping the gun? The tree and decor is up on the set, too.

Re: TSV CHRISTMAS GIFT PACKAGING?

I was in a store several weeks ago and there were fall decorations, Halloween decorations and Christmas trees decorated and all kinds of Christmas decorations up and items for sale!  It's just a big hodge-podg any more.  I don't like it!  Stick to one thing, please....

My Walmart already has about 90% of their Christmas stock out on display.

@Shanus You must be really young. For many years, and I mean as long as I can remember, Christmas items are displayed as early as August. I know my Costco had Christmas stuff several weeks ago.

A person can always shop a different aisle or a different television station, it has been the trend for so long and I don't see it changing any time soon nor do I mind it.

@Shanus The world is full of stuff I am not one bit interested in.  To name a few, sports, which is all-time everywhere; Thanksgiving; anything Disney and a lot more I could name.

It has nothing to do with me, lots of people love it and celebrate them, so what's for me to complain about?  Happy people?  Now that I do enjoy seeing.

Christmas is serious business for retailers. They depend on it for survival so they're going to make the most they can out of it.

@Kachina624 That's right.  Every retailer is competing for the same consumer dollars.  They have no choice but to get everything out and compete with the all the other retailers.

I like to knock out some shopping early so I can enjoy the holidays at a more leisurely rate.

Re: TSV CHRISTMAS GIFT PACKAGING?

Christmas packaging means nothing to me.  I would never just slap a bow on something and think it was an acceptable way to present a gift.
