Is it safe to say that the once famous Tova Signature is now a bust? I was checking reviews and they are not great. I've been checking reviews periodically just to see if there has been a resemblance of the older version available.

I use the Signature and Summer versions. they smell great on me, love them and I get complments all the time. I never tried the "original".

Having used and loved the original for years, I agree that Tova, the fragrance is now a bust, in however many newer versions she made (since I tried those, too.)

I'm not really on any kind of major quest, but I haven't been able to find another "signature" fragrance to rave about.

I feel exactly as Harpa does. The closest I have been able to find to the quality of the original TOVA is in Jo Malone...although the scents are not similar. I currently like Basil and Neroli.

I have never even tried a newer version after reading all the comments here, if it is not the original it will never be the same for me, not even close.

I must be the odd man out but I really love it. And it may not be identical to the original formula, but it is really nice. The top notes are very sharp (and get a lot of criticism) but only last an hour or so. After that is is a great fragrance. A lot of people complain about the staying power but in my experience, it lasts but is subtle and doesn't surround you.

I wore Tova Signature for many years until it started to change. Didn't know if it was the fragrance or if my body chemistry changed. I'd still be wearing it if that hadn't happened.

It is definitely the Tova Signature. I purchased the two bottle set, did not smell the same at all, and did not last. They went back. I have gone back to Cashmee by DOnna Karen, never changes.

I too wore the original many years ago but never tried it again after reading it was not the same. Why did it change? Any explanations as to why?

I wore the original & I have the newer 2 bottle set & I love it. It seems the same to me. Lasts nicely & people love it. I bought it, again beccause my Mom alwasy liked it & with her in a Memory Care I thought it might be a good memeory for her, when I wear it. No way to know if it works, but I do like it.
