Hello Beauties.  Happy Thursday and the weekend is almost upon us.  We actually had some snow today and may get some more tomorrow.  And it's cold 20's at night and low 30's in the day.  Strange weather for April.  I did a little shopping.

Aveda's Inner Light Tinted Moisturizer with SPF (physical) - Very nice light texture and dewy finish.  I have been looking for a replacement to my costly Laura Mercier which I love but getting too expensive.  This Aveda is very, very nice for the price of $32.  I received today.

Beauties, share your purchases and/or reviews and have a great weekend.  Stay Pretty, Beauties.    HeartCat Happy

Re: THURSDAY BEAUTY P&R 4/5/18

I got this OGX conditioner from Ulta.  I think I like it.  It is moisturizing, but not too heavy.  A lot of the conditioners I buy that are moisturizing are heavy and thick, but this stuff has a silkier consistency and it smells really nice.

I also got the Coconut Miracle dry shampoo, and that is not impressive.  It smells nice (kind of strong, but a nice scent), but it leaves the typical white cast you get with a lot of dry shampoos.  And it makes my hair feel crunchy.  I'll use it up, as it is not terrible, I just won't be repurchasing it.

I bought TJs new rose petal face refresher spray and I like it a lot. after refrigeration it feels cooling and smells like those wild roses that grow in the parks around my area.

@dex  @mistriTsquirrel   I am wondering where all the Beauties are.  No one is shopping.  I will give this another 2 weeks and if replies do not pick up, I will delete the Beauty Purchase thread.

@Katcat1  I wonder if people are spending less time online.  The weather is getting nice here, and some of the people who usually post may be cutting back on net time in favor of getting out of the house for a little bit.

Not sure, but it may just be a temporary lull.

@mistriTsquirrel   Sweet of you to say, mistri, but there are always evening hours.  I know every 2 or 3 weeks I am purchasing some kind of beauty product whehter it be lotions, soaps, cosmetics.  Enjoy your day and upcoming weekend.

I have a question about quirrels.  I thought that it is bad to feed squirrels outside because they need to learn to eat off the environment around them.  However, I was surprised to see a squirrel on top of the garbage bin outside eating whatever so it must have been very humgry.

@Katcat1  The environment around squirrels is now teeming with humans.  Squirrels are clever and resourceful.  If you feed them, they come to expect that from you.  If you don't feed them, they find whatever they can find.

In a natural environment, there are more trees, nuts, fruits, etc. for squirrels to forage.  Human beings have taken a lot of that away, so squirrels are just doing whatever they can to get by.

And--let's face it--if you can find discarded pizza and don't have to eat acorns, that is quite a score.

Squirrels are like people in a way; now that junk food is convenient, fewer squirrels eat the way they should.  The food in a garbage can or dumpster is easy to access and tastes yummier than a lot of the natural stuff.

Re: THURSDAY BEAUTY P&R 4/5/18

Neutrogena Hydro Boost moisturizer- I plan on starting this after I’m done with the IT Secret Sauce as I am not wore by the IT.

Lottie London eyeliner in Mocha- this is a brand sold on Ulta website. It’s very affordable and this is one of the few I can tightline with and it does not irritate my eyes. They are soft and once it dries down, it stays and does not disappear.

I got a few new makeup items: Catrice Highlighter in Champagne Campaign which is beautiful and it’s not a highlighter that is too over the top, Milani Make it Last setting spray. I really like this spray.

Im trying to be good because there are a few things I want from the Sephora VIB Sale.

Have a blessed weekend!

I have nothing to report but I wanted to mention that I, too, have noticed how slow this forum has been moving lately. It's not just here on the BB but seems like it's all of them. I'm not sure what's going on but I also have noticed many posters have gone missing as well. It would be nice to see more posters join in.Woman Happy
