I didn't see any of it but just the thought of it saddens me. Such losers in this world. I now see the moderator, @AnjalenaQVC, was the one who removed them and I want to say thank you to her and sorry that she had to even deal with it. Also thanks to all the moderators for the job they do here...a lot of days I'm sure it's not that easy or pleasant.

I must say, that sure was not something I cared to see at 4 a.m. I tried to mark as inappropriate, but was having issues signing in the past couple of days. Steven from CS just helped with that. Thanks to the mods for taking care of it and sorry that they had to do it because it was certainly vile.

Personally, I think that "hacking" is a misrepresentation of what happened.

There is no evidence that any customer or poster data was breached. This wasn't a data breach. Virtually anyone online can access and use these forums.

It was more inappropriate use of the forums easy access. A bit a cyber graffiti and vandalism. They weren't "hacked". Access is simple and ready and no sophisticated computer knowledge is necessary. Forums.

The word "hacking" should never have been used.

I think hack is the incorrect word. I didn't see what happened, but I saw and reported some stuff over Christmas. It's just some troll(s) creating new accounts and posting with links to pornographic stuff. They're not hacking into the forum or QVC's website, so your personal data is safe.

But, you should be aware that people can read these forums without logging in or having an account and our posts may show up in a browser search.
