Good morning, Beauties!

It's a slow week for me. The only thing that I used up are the sample packets that I got in a magazine.

I got some Olay Regenerist samples. And I really liked the whipped one.  Very light texture. Feels good and smells pleasant.

I also got some Loreal Age Perfect rosy tone moisturizer samples. I didn't like that at all--the texture, the smell, the color--everything.

That is all for me this week. Also, I start my beauty NO BUY this week. That will hopefully reduce the ridiculous amount of beauty prodcuts that I have.

Eye cream replaced by another Avon eye cream from my stash.

Replaced C in a C with the M.Asam recent TS Resveritrol bonus size moisturizer and Perfect Teint duo.

@momoftwo2007   I get confused between this thread and the one about "What Did You Purchase This Week". 

1. I did toss an entire bag of makeup brushes (gasp!!!). They were mostly Bare Minerals brushes from back in the day from kits...eye brushes, foundation and blush, etc. Many of them itched or scratched for some strange reason, probably the type of hair...artificial or real hair. They've been replaced over the years w/ brushes that did a better job applying liquid, stick or powder BE makeup. I finally took the leap and tossed at least 50 brushes. 

2. My hair is now in a bob (no pixie) about below jaw length...heading for mid-neck length. I have a Target bin in my closet where old hair tools lie in wait and I trade out flat irons, large or small curling irons, diffusers, sizes of round brushes....I change hair styles/techniques as my hair grows or cut it back to a pixie, go curly or grow it out again. I DID however toss styling products that weren't working at any length: Bumble Bumble Straightening Cream in tube...made my hair too straight, could not get a bend at the ends to turn under, a few mousses (yes, a mousse girl) that made my hair stiff or dirty on 2nd day. Tossed out several sprays that were too stiff. I've discovered hairspray called styling sprays that are much lighter and don't leave a "helmet head". 

3. Lastly the 3 month mark hit for mascara. A few liners had been sharpened to nubs and time to trash them. 

***With graduation, prom and wedding season approaching, my PRO KIT undergoes a major overhaul!  Big toss and repurchase to keep it updated...too much to list, but the usual suspects. My most expensive time of year for skincare and makeup for the kit so I keep my personal buying to a minimum.

I tossed a Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer - Must have gotten lost in the rotation, it was old and separating.....ewwwww

That is all I can remember right now, have a great weekend, ladies.  We are expecting temps in the high 60s here in the Tulsa area!!!

@momoftwo2007   I have not heard great things about that rosey toned mousturizer. When it first came out, Helen Mirren appeared in print ads looking downright flushed. I think they toned down the hue, but few women want to add redness to their complexion compared to those trying to cover it up.

I did use up 2 things & tossed one thing.

Used up a sample of Lancôme Advanced Génifique The samples from Lancôme online are now in a plastic pouch instead of the bottle with eye dropper.

Used up Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done in Light shade. Replaced with Lancôme Teint Idole Liquid Foundation 210 Buff N.

The Urban Decay tube was a good product, provided coverage & had sunscreen of SPF20. I used most of it up, but this past time used, started to see little globs of product unable to be blended out. Tube was over a year old. 

Tossed a small eyeliner pencil from Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil in the Foret Enchantee color. I had used most of it up before it dried out.

Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil Junkie shade or Mainline are similar but do not have the smattering of silver shine to it like the Lancôme version. 

I think Lancôme is discontinuing their Drama Liqui pencils because of numerous problems with the formula -- many reviews saying points fall off, cracking of points during application & drying out over time. 

The Urban Decay pencils are superior.

Nothing this week, but this morning I noticed my Wen 6-13 body cream is looking low. Oh no. It is my Friday scent. I'm not sure why I only wear it on Fridays. I think because it smells how I feel on Friday. Free, happy, excited for the weekend.

Only used up 2 things this week. 

Dr Nassif Detox Pads - I love these and replaced with same from stash. 

M Asam Vinogold Eye Cream - I adore this eye cream.   No matter what other eye creams I try I always come back to this one.   Replaced with same.

Happy Friday.  I used up:

Victorias Secret light FX HD eye brightening pen. Soft highlighter — have a LG French vanilla highlighter to use up.  

Mally eye liner in black.  I like this, replaced with a Ulta matte black liner.  

Este launder. GWP size black mascara - trying to use up a few small sized mascara.  This was in my work desk makeup.

Happy Friday, Beauties!

This week, just a few things:

Elf Matte Magic mist & set.  I like this setting spray but like the Morphe Continuous Mist better so replaced the elf with that.  So many setting sprays have alcohol but these two don't.  

Tossed:

Paula's Choice Anti-Aging Eye Gel.  This was almost gone and I've had it a very long time.  Replaced with ROC retinol eye cream which I really like.

Sample of an Escada fragrance.  I just couldn't stand it and the fragrance lingered despite me washing it off.
