Watched TATCHA last nite for a bit. Ok, sounded good, price expensive. I did some research and found out they were sold to Unilever.

Now, to me, it's no longer exclusive and a wow product but rather another beauty product owner by a super power.  Lost its interest for me. Unilever getting richer on over priced products

She sold out a while ago.

Somewhere I saw a rumor that she retained the geisha book.  Right up there with Amazon clay and glacier water.

I wrote a paper on Geisha and it was quite extensive and interesting.  Lots of info but never once did I come across any skin care or secret books with skin care concoctions.  They used white paste.  Google it.

I'm pretty sure that 'geisha book' is just one journal written by one geisha about how she did her personal skin care routine. It was not a handbook for all the geishas who ever lived. 🙄

Over 20 years ago Estee Lauder made a rice polish and same principal. Great product but didn't have the TATCHA price. I don't know if they still sell it but I'm more inclined with Estee Lauder. I'm not thrilled with UNILEVER.

I like a few Tatcha products and buy them over and over.  Especially the Essence.

I'm pretty sure tatcha can be purchased in stores too not just from QVC.

I have been using Tatcha for years.  It is the longest time I have ever stayed with a product line.  Tatcha has been the best for my skin, ever!  Since I have been using Tatcha, I have not had any breakouts. My skin is hydrated and smoother with less fine lines.  I love every product that I have used.  Now that I am retired, my budget doesn't fit the Tatcha price, but it still is worth it to me.  QVC does have the best pricing when there are 2 for the price of one.

@Still Raining , @rms1954 , and @SilleeMee  - I taught in Japan and met a Geisha in Kyoto.

The Geisha I met used Estée Lauder.

The book Vicky "found" was probably from a used book store. I don't for a minute believe it is one of a kind. It did make her a lot of money! LOL!   Smiley Wink
