A regular terrycloth towel causes frizz. Using a micro towel helps prevent this.

It is often said in the Wen threads that twisting your hair reduces frizz rather than using a terrycloth towel. Micro towels are also suggested.

I remember during a WEN presentation, Chaz said to Lisa he recommended using a cotton tee to towel dry one's hair. He stated it helps prevent breakage and helps with the absorption of water.
