I have one. It's going on 4 years now. No problems at all and you can clean the filter. Also comes with an extra filter. However, the host and vendor will say anything to make a sale. It does NOT hold your style. I live in the midwest and when it's humid, nothing is holding a style. Even when it's not humid, it does not hold a style all day. Anyone else own one? What's your experience?
