I had the T3 and have the Drybar. I like the Drybar much better. I never believed what "THEY" say about your hair looking better with a specific brand of dryer, but my hair does look better. The Drybar is weighted better, and easier to manage. Google Drybar and see if you can get a deal. I got mine at Sephora and took the $200 package with the shampoo and brushes. Did not like the shampoo, nor the brushes.

You might go look at Folica dot com. They have tons of hair dryers at all price ranges and the reviews will help you decide. If you sign up for emails, they have great sales. They don't cary drybar though.

Ok, here goes..I have been using a $15 hair dryer that I picked up from Walgreens 3 years ago, it weighs virtually ounces and does a great job. I must confess that I spend a good deal on my hair for professional coloring and hair care products. Go figure! {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I have a Babylis that works fine. But when I saw the demonstration on the drybar I fell for it. I purchased it and returned it after a month of trying it. I felt it was heavy, bulky to maneuver, and it dried my hair out. I am back to using the Babylis. I've also had a T3 which I think is comparable to the Babylis. I'm done spending tons of money on these dryers and if the Baby goes, I will probably purchase Conair -- for the money it's just as good as the other more expensive dryers.

I am on my second T3 featherweight and LOVE them. When it dies I will buy another one because I don't want to think about or shop for a hairdryer. I like it because it does the job quickly and quietly and isn't heavy. They last about 3 years. . .

Im glad that you say this. My Drybar is the first expensive dryer I've owned, and I really do think that my hair looks fuller and shinier. And I know that it gets dry quicker, but more than anything I like the weight, the feel of it. I didn't know how it compared to the T3 and had begun thinking that I should have held out for the cheaper Costco T3. But this post made me feel like I made the right choice. I agree though, the $200 Sephora set was unnecessary and if I could turn back time I would have gotten this when it was a QVC TSV for $169. But no regrets. Blowdryers should last 5-6 years at least, and since I use it just about every single day, I don't mind spending more on one that I like!

I used a Conair blow dryer, after blow drying, my hair would feel dry and "crunchy", by the next day my hair would feel soft again. A few years back I ordered a TSV T3 professional which also included a travel blow dryer. From the first day of using the T3 I could tell the difference in my hair, I no longer had the crunchiness and it was very soft, I couldn't believe the difference. Seems like quite a bit of people like their Conair, maybe when my T3 goes out I'll try Conair again. Or I may order the T3 from Costco, thanks for the heads up I had no clue that Costco sold it (and you have to love their return policy). On the T3 travel dryer, it went out after only a couple of uses.

I haven't tried a T-3 but got the Drybar when it was a TSV - I like it. It's my first high-end dryer and although I don't see THAT much difference between that and a cheapo, I just blast my hair to smithereens to dry, I don't even try to style or smooth.

I like it because of the variety of settings, it's not heavy, and you can remove the end cap thing to remove hair (if that makes sanse). I probably would have gotten a T-3 if that had been the TSV at the time, but I'm happy enough with this. T-3 looks cooler, though. :-)

There's going to be a new blow dryer on qvc. It's called Smart Ego by ego professional. Godfreako posted a pic of it a few days ago. I'm not sure if it'll be a tsv but the blow dryer looks nice. You can search it up because it's not new, it's just new to qvc.

I love my $20 hair dryer. It has 2 heat settings, 2 fan settings, and the cold air button.
