she will only work with one or two hosts......wonder how qvc will follow this??

I wonder if they have her interact with some hosts behind the scenes and whoever she "clicks with" is who will host with her.  She seems to like hosts with a good sense of humor. Carolyn does a good job with Ellen, Ellen can through some curve balls sometimes with her humor and Carolyn just laughs and goes on.  They are funny together!

She and Carolyn may actually be a fabulous fit!!  I didn't even think of her at first!

I do not want her to talk about the "medical" stuff, but I do not think she's a quack or has "bogus" info.  I think some of what she says is spot on.  She just takes it to a whole different level of extreme.  All that matters, though, is that she's happy and healthy and she appears to be.

I will be hoping for some swell buys for her hair care products and facial scrub. I use and appreciate them. I'd rather buy from QVC than her website. I don't seem to get the better pricing there like I did from Evine. Maybe it's just bad timing on my part

@Lally

I was curious about the shampoo/conditioner, what do you like about it, if that is the hair care you use from her.  I did try her peach facial scrub a few years ago and it did smell like fresh peaches!

Hi, Well, I appreciate the ingredients and that the products are gluten free. My hair is fine, straight, thin and I get fullness and no frizz with her shampoo and conditioner. I haven't tried the coconut version. Her hair serum is really nice. It's the only one I've found that doesnt weigh down my hair. It gives shine and smoothing.  I only use one pump for my shorter cut. I alternate and use her styling gel for fullness. Whenever I can find products that deliver decent results and have less chemicals, I choose them. That's just my preference. Hope this sharing is of value.

This is of great value, my hair is also fine and straight but I have a lot of it.  It gets weighed down easily, so thank you for taking the time to post this!

Re: Suzanne is coming to QVC - Suzanne Somers - A New Way to Age

[ Edited ]

I think she would do well on BeautyIQ; the format comes off as being quite different...more laid back, if you will.

There are those who will put her down, there are those who will refuse to watch her, there are those who love her and think she's amazing.....and everything in between. The only other vendor that seems to get this kind of a response is Chaz/WEN.

I own all her books (her cookbooks are out of this world) and am grateful to the many aspects of womens' health that she has brought to the forefront; especially as so much of OUR health is dismissed/ignored.

Some of you may remember this:

Oprah had Cybil Sheppard on and Cybil was discussing HRT and how BHRT was the way to go. She was discussing estrogen creams you could rub on your inner thighs, how to find a compound pharmacist (and what they were),  how it was amazing that there WAS intimate moments after menopause but doctors are clueless about it. Oprah just stared at her. The audience just twitted and laughed nervously. Odd thing.....I had JUST read about BHRT in one of Suzanne Sommers' books. She was ALREADY in the know back then. Think what you like; I and many of my friends credit Suzanne for giving us knowledge that doctors STILL lack today. I've requested tests that specialists were surprised I knew about; I've debated results and levels (thyroid) that are NOW being shown to be too high but are routinely said to be "normal" all due to Suzanne.

I look forward to her first show to see what she's going to offer.

There are no such shows on the schedule for the dates shown in the original post.  Cancelled before even being on the air?

@Mary Bailey - yes, I also recd the emails with cancel notifications.  I don't see any shows listed for Q, Q2 or BeautyIQ channels. Maybe they are still working on details & schedule.  It seemed like a very aggressive ramp up schedule since they need to set up warehousing/inventory.

Also, I don't think Suzanne posted anything about Q on her Facebook page which suggests that a finalized deal was not reached otherwise she would promote it like she did her Evine visits.

People posted questions to her on Facebook about Q but no response from Suzanne. One Q poster was throwing a hissy fit b/c Suzanne didn't inform her & she 'had to read about it in Q forum'. Lol, that poster insisted Suzanne owed her the direct info b/c she was a long term customers. Lol, what a wacky doodle.

We will need to monitor & share updates.

Suzanne posted this photo of her mom. They sure look alike!
